Koreans really sounds so cool when they speak Korean...with they natural Korean accent. I'm a novice when it comes to Korea or Korean but I want to learn the language and the culture more after I finished with romance languages, which would take years. OMG.
I'm really happy there are finally Easy languages Korean! This will help to much I hope there will be many to come! I watched this yesterday and I couldn't fully understand from listening to what they were saying but I just watched it now and by pausing the video and looking through each sentence I understand a lot more although there are a few big vocabulary words and a few verbs I didn't know before but hear all the time. Thank you for starting Easy Korean!
finally the language that i've been waiting for.... i think easy korean concerns is to present the natural everyday conversation that happens in the neighborhood. So don't seek for grammar in here, this is more like an addition to the language immersion part of the language learning people out there.
The Hungarian people who follow sports heard about her because of the Sochi scandal, but only figure skating fans know who Yuna Kim is. Trust me, I am Yuna's biggest Hungarian fan! :) I am really happy that she won her first junior Grand Prix title in Hungary, back in 2004.
amazing_butterfly Thank you for your memory. I was shocked also with sochi scandal. Thanks for great suppor to her even she retired. Respect hungary from korea.
I had alot of Korean roommates last year lol...it was fun cooking Korean food with them , eating at Korean places, and shopping at Korean grocery stores with them...i got into the culture for sure from that!
I've been trying to learn Korean for a long time, my ma isn't a very good teacher (i love her but, no). So I started searching youtube for videos on how to learn Korean, and stumbled upon this video. It's very well made; however, my problem is that the video goes a bit fast, so I can't even read the subtitles in Korean or English to even understand what is being said.
it's great, German is like level 1, Korean is level 2. Since I already mastered German now Korean is the next logical step. Jetzt bin ich endlich befördert, so lange musste ich warten.
I am not going to write a harsh comment but really, I am Korean and I understand that the way that she speaks is not wrong (almost) but the like the ending of the sentences like ~구나. ~한가 보다. shouldn't be used in the video, I believe. This is a video for foreigners to learn Korean. I think she should speak more proper Korean.
xNeverm1ndx The Japanese invaded the Korean peninsula and ruled from 1910-1945. The Korean people were essentially enslaved at this time, being abused and forced to work in horrible conditions.
And : they don't apologize until now for what they did to Korea in the past, even worse they are distorting historical facts as not happend, for example sex slaves from Korea(and also from other asian countries).
Abraham Betancoúrt I'm a native speaker and I've been wondering why there is no Easy Mandarin/Chinese vid since I visited the channel for the first time. Glad to know you are interested in my language!!!
Cannot understand why Easy Language staffs got her into the Easy Korean project. She's missing out very basic elementary Korean grammar (장기를 '두다'), some dialogues are omitted, and even wrongly written. (던가 and 든가) As you can see other comments by Koreans regarding her interview, I can surely say that she is not qualified for the interview. I bet that normal Korean high school students' Korean language skill couldn't be any worse than that of her's.
I don't think that is the purpose of this channel. IMHO, the goal is to listen to daily Korean as spoken by natives in their daily life. There are plenty of channels that focus on academic learning. What I am looking for is a way to practice my listening skills so I can understand the guy next-door. So, I'd rather say, thank you for your amazing videos, I'm learning a lot!
+Louis they have a lot of ng's and j's in their language and they tend to go down with their voice inbetween sentences, that's what i think is different, but i think it sounds really cool
+Louis H It's the least weird South-East Asian language if you ask me, sounds halfway between Cantonese and Japanese. What stands out about it is the number of stop consonants (d/t, k/g), the j (with quite different pronunciations depending on the speaker) and all the rounded and mid vowels.
I love how the first man just keep replying the questions while swinging around lol

Koreans really sounds so cool when they speak Korean...with they natural Korean accent. I'm a novice when it comes to Korea or Korean but I want to learn the language and the culture more after I finished with romance languages, which would take years. OMG.
Good luck! Korean is great! And wayyyyyy easier than Romance languages!

I never learned Korean but I watched a trillion interviews of Yuna Kim, so the language is very familiar to me now. :)
amazing_butterfly Hi... I saw you there too haha... I have been to hungary and it was nice country visit.
Haha really you saw me? It is very nice that you visited Hungary, I am really happy you liked my little country. Cheers to Korea!
amazing_butterfly I asked your nationality there. Is yuna kim famous in hungary there??
The Hungarian people who follow sports heard about her because of the Sochi scandal, but only figure skating fans know who Yuna Kim is. Trust me, I am Yuna's biggest Hungarian fan! :) I am really happy that she won her first junior Grand Prix title in Hungary, back in 2004.

Finally Korean!!!!!! Can't believe it..... Thank you so much, guys!!!!!
I'm a native Korean but the interviewer's intonation, grammar, usage of vocabularies are awkward
Aiden Bach i agree, maybe she was nervous or something
Thanks for the info! By the way, Korean is only one language so it has only one vocabulary.
YES! It's about time! Thank you!
this is great! keep making more! I've been looking for videos like this with bilingual subs!!
I had alot of Korean roommates last year lol...it was fun cooking Korean food with them , eating at Korean places, and shopping at Korean grocery stores with them...i got into the culture for sure from that!

OOOH YEAAAAH!!! THE BEST LANGUAGE EVER!
Really awesome to see an Easy Korean now.
Could the subtitles be improved on, please? It wasn't completely correct.
love Korea !!!
Korean is one of hardest grammar to learn
I didn't know *cracks knuckles*
i was waiting for the korean one :3
It is awesome! But is it normal in Korea to hold the microphone like that when interviewing? I feel pretty weird though. :)
I ask your permission to download video from easy korean, for study. Thank you.
the only korean i ever learn was from watching arrested development.
I love korea! :)
Korean is a beautiful language
I want to go to Korea soon!!!!!
I hope you'll make some super easy korean too, since these conversations were a little bit hard to follow for me :)
hahahahahahah funny
someone finally did it!!
*subtitle pronunciation is pretty hard to see, I guess? "eo" actually sounds "o" and "eu" for example "Geu" is like just g in "great"
They're difficult to read on purpose, so that people would learn hangul.
Why do Korean lengthen their vowels in speech? Is it a pitch language like Japanese or just accent?
Finally!
it's great, German is like level 1, Korean is level 2. Since I already mastered German now Korean is the next logical step.
The editing could use some work, especially since some bits go by too fast. Otherwise, good idea.
very good!
다만, 장기를 왜 칩니까? 최소한 장기 친다는 내용은 편집하셨어야죠. _;;;;

No no, I want to learn every-day Korean. I can watch plenty of other videos on proper grammar use.
Yeah endlich Koreanisch :) finally Korean
servus
Aber ich denke Easy German is besser - it's just higher quality. Ich hoffe, dass Easy Korean sich verbessern.
What does 편한 exactly mean?

FINALLY!
I heard Koreans feel a bit antagonistic towards Japanese. Could someone explain why?
xNeverm1ndx The Japanese invaded the Korean peninsula and ruled from 1910-1945. The Korean people were essentially enslaved at this time, being abused and forced to work in horrible conditions.
And : they don't apologize until now for what they did to Korea in the past, even worse they are distorting historical facts as not happend, for example sex slaves from Korea(and also from other asian countries).
Thanks for the answers. Gotta do some reading on the topic
Yay! now I just need "Easy Mandarin" and I'll be fine :)
Abraham Betancoúrt Coming very very soon :)
Easy Languages echt?!!! daaaaank!!!
Abraham Betancoúrt I'm a native speaker and I've been wondering why there is no Easy Mandarin/Chinese vid since I visited the channel for the first time. Glad to know you are interested in my language!!!

+Louis H I am Italian. I can understand only the word "Olympic"... :-D
+Louis they have a lot of ng's and j's in their language and they tend to go down with their voice inbetween sentences, that's what i think is different,
but i think it sounds really cool

I still don’t like that cheesy garage band sounding riff that’s used as the theme for Easy Language
finally!!!!
the dash makes it harder to read -_-"

I don't think the interviewer is a korean cause she said 'blow the 장기'
romanization subs are distracting
sound like mandarin and japanese
cameron it doesn’t really if you have a keen ear
OMG There R normal ppl there! I thought there lived only beautiful women and tall handsome men with perfect complexion wearing fancy coats;)
