word to the wise; replace your suspension in pairs. Also, use arnott for replacement bags. I've used them on my range rover and my S3. No, the S3 doesn't have airbags, but Arnott makes excellent suspension parts and I replaced 6 struts (4 for the S3, 2 for the range) for a total of $1200 for everythig.
Totally agree, but my wallet doesn’t! The S6 uses air struts in the front which are $700 per side from Arnott. The rear bags are like $250 each so I’d be looking at just about $2k for all four corners!
You can but its a hassle. You need to convert the suspension components and have knowledge or know someone who can code out all suspension fault codes that will pop up.
I personally will only put RS bolt ons. I’m little concerned with oil strainers that block up and starve stock turbos. But supposedly was recall on certain vin models within c7.5’s to sort it out. I guess more reason for big turbos upgrade 😉
Thats not how cylinder on demand works lol. it deactivates pistons 2 opposing pistons on each side of the engines so 1 3 6 8. Half the engine does not turn of fuel or spark, if you did that the vibrations would destroy the engine lol. It basically turns into a V4, and does not cause any serious harm, this technology has been around for almost 50 years.
Thanks for clarifying the COD. Pinning this comment for anyone who watches this. Many people report that COD is the cause for the uneven wear on the motor mounts. I may need to research more on why this is the reason but nontheless, many reports of passeneger side mount giving out far before the driver side are reported. This could also be cause due to the balancing of the engines vibrations.
currently rocking a stage 2 audi A6 but definitely looking to jump into the 4.0t platform soon, I am also tuned by jackal love them. How much hp are you making roughly stage 1?
I luv my A8 with S8 turbos

The recall is available for all c7 and c7.5 with the 4.0t. RS7 turbos are probably one of the safest and proven turbos to go with for big power.

@@Purehaste they dyno number on jackals site advertise the tune as making 533whp on a dynojet. I havent done any testing tho
What intakes do you have ?
I have the VTT intakes, but I don’t recommend them. I got them for a really good deal, but they have bad fitment issues.
