    My son and I love your videos. He is 2 years and very excited by trains. My father was a VP for the Long Island Railroad so I grew up around trains. You and I share a couple of things: I am a long time voice over guy and lived in FL from 1979 until 1994 when I moved to Prague in the Czech Republic. Later this week my son and I will visit the Czech Railway museum it a converted freight station and have a lot of old steam engines. More soon!

    5:43 Seeing the Conductor standing at the open door reminded me of the backing move on December 8,1955 when we rode to NYC to catch the ocean liner that would take us to Barcelona, (all paid for by the USN) home port for the ship my father was stationed on. My brother and I made friends with the conductor, so he walked us to the back end, and we got to watch the train back all the way to the Tampa station. Really cool, and something I will never forget thanks to the kindness of the Conductor.

    Awesome video, Danny! Those leasers are what made CSX really awesome back then, leaving one not certain what power a train would have. The Central Florida area is always my favorite; with all that backcountry and wide open terrain.

    I just thought I was quietly crazy but I guess we do have favorites. I can't decide which I like best, the G. E. Dash 7s or the EMD SW1500s, MP15AC or MP15DC. I like the Dash 7s for the shear power and the EMDs for their open faced cabs behind the power generator. I always thought was neat the way the EMDs would run cab forward as they worked local industries. Ironically as seems only 25% of the freight that CSX moves through the city stays in the city. The city planners are eyeing the property that CSX has in the city. It seems that the powers that run the circus want to run every industry out of town. They would like to see CSX move east of the city into the Wilson/840 corridor. I'm concerned that they'll just keep on going resigning Radnor Yards to the history bins.

    One of my biggest complaints about CSX is the fact that they have so many MP1500's up in Montcrief but none in Taft, Wildwood, Tampa and other places, I'd trade all the units in Taft for 1 Mp1500, they're one of my favorite engines. I never get to see them on trains south of Jacksonville but they're always going back and forth from waycross.

    • @floridianrailauto9032

    • @SD40Fan_Jason
      @SD40Fan_Jason 5 років тому

      That's because the engines in Taft need to be able to go as far North as Sanford and as far south as Poinciana to work. They don't just switch the yard, they also service customers in the various parks and along the mainline.

The only time that has ever been used was by Hollywood and even then it was considered improper use of the radio net. So thanks for using proper terminology in that regard. I think for the people that use it, it must sound cool. To all of us who know better we just want to scream.

    Why not make sure that you are truly saved by Jesus Christ and practice this way.
    Remorsefully confess with your heart your sins to Jesus Christ who is God and tell Him that you right now are repenting of your sins and you want to be born again of the Spirit from above. Tell Jesus that you are remorsefully sorry for breaking His commandments and that you are begging for forgiveness from Him. Allow His blood from the cross to wash away your sins. After this is done with your heart successfully the Holy Spirit will come to live within you and He will rebuild you from the inside out. Look for signs that you are living righteously. Things like spreading the good news from Jesus, getting other people saved, a craving for the word of God, reading the Bible etc. These things are known as a calling and fruit bearing. If you're not bearing fruit then keep doing it. Sometimes it takes time to get saved. Read Matthew chapter 13 from the King James Bible. God bless!
