I’ve been trying to layer a black musk with an ajmal dehnl oud Hindi for a while now . I’m not getting the effect that I want , most of the time the musk overpowers the oud . What’s an ideal drop by drop musk to oud ratio that would perhaps elevate the note of oud ?
@areejledoreperfumes I'm trying to make a perfume oil using grapeseed oil as a carrier. I have added my ingredients, including oud oil and black musk but it seems to be separating in layers with a dark layer at the bottom. All of the ingredients are the best I can afford and there is no alcohol or water in the perfume. Is there an emulsifier I can use? Just wondering where I've gone wrong?
Do you means your perfumes don't have good longevity? Make sure your base is made of heavy resins and woods. Increase base proportions possibly. Try to experiment with fixatives (materials that prolong certain parts of the composition).
Sir its not about longevity. I m not getting the projection n sillage not a least although i use renowned molecules from firmenich givaudan n symrise etc.

Make musk at 10% first. In carrier with no aroma. Then blend with pure oud oil. Drop to drop. Try different variations

Try another carrier. Dpg or something else that may solve the issue.

@@mohammedamaan2694 then increase violitile ingredients and top notes. Add iso e super lol 😆 or natural ambergris
