It's fascinating how the designer takes the logos and changes them a little or even completely in some cases.
I honestly love the older Icons because it's more detailed and prettier compared to the latest ones

I like that it's going for a bit of a skeumorphic look, just wish it was more consistent with the previous design.
Icons do gets more simple, even tho phone screen has evolved and even nearly reached 2K resolution.

The new icons feel like a dream coming true. UI designs reached an all time low in 2021 and now that we are finally getting out of the minimalistic UI era, things can only get better from here! 😅
You people were whining about the new simple icons and now you dont want detailed ones back? Im just glad there listening
They should make an option for using modern icons or the preferred icons, like this comment if you agreed and make sure samsung see this!

I love both equally. I don't get the hate for the new ones, but the old ones are awesome too. I remember that you can change the icon pack on Samsung phones, so it's not an issue if you don't like the new ones.

Is there ANY way to use one ui 6 icons on one ui 7? im getting a S25 Ultra when it is released and prefer the older icons more.
Personally, I use custom icons, so the icon change doesn't really worry me too much. But I honestly would prefer the flat and simple look of the old one ui.
Just bring back the touchwiz icons, but keep the glassy aero of one ui...
Watching this from my s24 on the beta, to say it's a huge improvement would be an understatement

Im very glad Samsung made a brave first step among tech giants to finally step out of minimalism. New icons are bringing hope that we will soon get interesting and vibrant icons like in good old frutiger era. No one liked minimalism when it came, people just got used to it, and im glad that NPC design era is finally coming to its end.

Some of the icons look like it came from those fake "S24 Launcher , BeSt LaUnChEr Of 2024" ahh icon packs. But still, more detail and some of them look cool.

The icons from OneUI 6 never really resonated with me. The icons from OneUI 7 look funky and fresh. I'm a fan! :)

They wants give more details looks old 2010 ones and I like it
If they do want that style it like touchwiz but remove some partsmlike shaders or the skeumorphism since they wont do detailed
I would not have any problems with the icons if they had more colors, not some that are very colorful and others that are grey.
