- The icons used for Samsung Galaxy smartphones has evolved significantly over the last 14 years. In this video you will see the evolution of key Samsung Android icons from 2010 to the present. Note that although not all icons are able to be included in this video, the significant redesigns are included.

Samsung don't make new icons for these apps in 2024, the last update of these apps icons are in the middle of 2023. 😊

For reference, the messaging app in 2023 is the Google messaging app, and in Korea it is the Samsung messaging app. (I live in Korea)
I use samsung's in slovenia. You can use google or samsung. I perfer samsung

Point of corrections:
The 2018 messages icon was blue and green, not orange.
The Notes icon of 2018 had the Samsung Experience UI design.
In addition, the Galaxy Store icon of 2018 had a Samsung Experience UI design, and the background color was a rainbow gradient.
Lastly, the Music icon is still updated regularly by Samsung (though it has not been a native app since 2017).

There is a messaging 2018 oreo version which is color blue and you posted a 2017 version and there is 2023 version but you post a google messaging and as well as you did not include the new version of samsung music
If Samsung makes their old icons from 2010 available in the themes store I will definitely apply and use them… I just miss how icons looked then, everything now is so oversimplified and boring 😢
