Hi. It's got very good clearance, they state 190mm. I could easily get underneath to check everything under. The center console uses the aircon to cool as far as I know. So cold aircon, cold air and same goes with hot air. Still waiting to get a chance to drive it.
This car was at the Sandton branch in October. This was also one of the cars I reviewed in my China trip vids but there it falls under the Jaecoo side. I think it looks better than the Beijing in my opinion. Absolutely luxurious. We will have to wait to see the price point.
Yes, the centre console, like all the other Chery and Omada, has vents to allow the aircon to cool any drinks or chocolates or anything you want cold. The vents are at the front in the large storage compartment. I think it's deep enough and large enough to have a few buddy cokes standing upright.

If this thing is R850k and below, I am buying. Was about to purchase H6 GT but its not luxurious, Tiggo 8 pro max was the other choice but it doesn't look as good outside imo hence the choice of the H6 GT. The C9 looks good outside and has the luxury inside and the 193kw/400nm engine, so it ticks the boxes my wife and I want so we are sold. Black rims, black paint, blacked out metals and its perfect for us 👌
It's an absolutely gorgeous vehicle and can't wait to take one for a drive and do some vids on it. But right now, in my opinion I think the Chery to buy is the T7 MAX AWD. Looks good and the FWD version goes like hell. So can't wait to test the AWD and see it's offroad capability.
It's very funny that Chery is in a joint venture with Land Rover in China but we see more Mercedes Benz influence than Land Rover 😂😂. If I were Land Rover I would be disappointed.
Wanna know something funny. In China, Chery build the Land Rover discovery and the Merc GLE. When we went to their factory those cars were parked there and we asked why. We thought maybe just storage but not they build them. That's why some of the influences are from those manufacturers in Chery and Omoda new cars. And according to a journalist from CAR mag that was with us. The new Chery are built better than some current MERCS in SA.

The doors a hollow and feel light not the BMW though. And I'm dying for the smell in the Germany cars. I really hope cherry can master that too. Really interested in the point lit made that Omoda C9 build quality cans actually be better than a Merc. I really hope this is true.
My supervisor has a 2015 C200 MERC and this C9 makes his car feel like a Renault Kwid. The doors are sturdy and have no tin sound when you close them. Everthing just feels so nice. It feels more premium, and when you get a chance to sit in one, you'll think it's more expensive than the German cars.

Unfortunately no. As far as I know it's only black seats and the usual light grey headliner.
