When I picture what would burt Reynalds would wear, it would be this. Took me a while to warm to this, but it’s great for the value and beast mode. Very masculine.
My wife doesn't like Oud and she always says "Hummm, you smell very nice" when I wear this one. This is a very masculine fragrance. Best way to describe it is Man in Black is for boys and Ferragamo Oud is for Men. But if you are a "boy" but a "bad boy" then this one would suit you better😉 Try before you buy because it's a polarising fragrance. Relatively cheap but smells expensive. You'll see what I mean when you try it. Don't try it on paper, try it on your skin as the opening will fade away and you won't be able to smell the dry down properly on paper.
I own Man In Black Essence and Man Black Orient, so Ferragamo Oud definitely piques my interest, though I may end up getting Versace Oud Noir instead. Great review, Ross.
I did not know mib and sfo shared the same notes. They smell so different to me. In fact, I own 75 different frags and Ferragamo oud is probably the most daring that I own. Man in black seems less challenging to wear for sure. But I love the way Ferragamo oud smells. I like Versace’s oud noir a little better, i think the balance is better. Still wanting to get my hands on Boss Bottled oud. Great review Ross, I learn something new with each video.
Ross, your making me nostalgic for my video gaming days man. CVS 2 was my joint for a while. Welp! Guess I gotta head over to your other channel. Now, onto the topic. I procured Salvatore Ferragomo Oud this summer. Now that the weather is cooling I’ll get some wears out of it. Thanks for the review. 👍🏾
King of fighter vs street fighter game on the background actually distract me from paying full attention on the fragrance itself😂. Anyway I like this type of DNA and consider buying it. I heard its being compare to Bentley intense or MM jazz club.
This fragrance has disappointed me. I expected it to be a really flanker of the classic SF Pour Homme, retaining some of the particular DNA with an oriental touch, obvious with Oud and some additional spice or other changes. While it is true that Versace Oud Noir (VON) is not a real flanker of the classic either, but I like it much more than SF Oud. A commercial fragrance that really respected the classic DNA, and gave it the oriental touch with Oud, was BOSS BOTTLED. It's true that at first I didn't like it at all, but then I tried couple of times and I liked it significantly. I already bought it. I even blindly bought the flanker of the flanker OUD SAFFRON. What do you think, if they make a relaunch of their Oud Version, or a new flanker launch respecting the DNA??? Wouldn't you like to???
Nice review, man. Good overview. I'm not super crazy about "in your face" like fragrances, but I might put this on for testing. When I tried Bvlgari Man in Black way way back (must have been like 2-3 years ago), I wasn't crazy about it because it smelled like rubber or a heavy leather to me and kind of turned me off. I might have to revisit it to see if my nose has changed, or if anything, I need to try Black Orient. I've been hearing good things about that one. Oh and another small note: I'm loving the automatic games playing in the background. I've been noticing that in your videos lately and it's a nice touch and I'm glad your referenced your gaming channel. You know I love my CVS2! I'm glad you always present that you are a gamer AND a fragrance enthusiast. :)
Hey man, so I'm just curious. Since Man In Black is going for around $80 these days, do you think Ferragamo Oud is a good alternative at around half the price?? I owned Man In Black but had to sell it and I really do miss it, but the stronger leather in the Ferragamo has me very interested! I'd really appreciate any feedback you might have my friend.
Bought this last Winter. One of my top 5 cold weather Frags! Love it.
As a fan of old school animalic masculine fragrances I really love this one

just recently discovered your channel but already a fan.
Quick, through review and comparison.
Well done.
Opinion noted.
Ohhh! That's Capcom vs SNK 2 in the background! Best one ever. I just got Salvatore Ferragamo Pour Homme last week and it's 🔥🔥
I think a lot of people have been commenting on the video games in the background as of late. Glad he dropped a link for his other channel
@@jboll84 yes sir, already subscribed. I didn't know he had that one game. I used to play that way too much.

I ❤️ it. Perfect budget Hermes Bel Ami Vetiver vibes, but a little more office friendly. Less leather funk and more ambery spiciness
Think i will pick this one up. Every review you've made and i actually went out and purchased. Had been Winners...
Thanks for the video. Never heard of it till today. Gonna pull the trigger on it because I love Man In Black so much. 👍

I got this a while back, I love it, waiting for it to cool down here in Illinois to wear it.
Where did you purchase it from?
@@smo1228 I believe it was fragrance buy canada or perfume online Canada

This is more like Man Black Orient. Not that close to Man in Black, honestly
@@TLTGReviews Never smelled Orient, so I suppose this would be worth checking out.
Good info. Thanks much. Don't sound interesting to me.
