Always remember, Trevor, when you may be stressed out making these videos that you bring joy to MANY people! A great episode and can't wait to see this journey through with Arne ✌
Having been being elected mayor of Argoston, Simon now spends his time cleaning after the embarrassing antics of his sheriff Edbert who can't seem to stop seeing ghosts everywhere.
@@grimrider3807 we have not started yet, we have been playing the computer version of Gloomhaven. And we are still going through Curse of the Strahd on Fantasy Grounds with our friends. So I may have to wait for Ironsworn. :( Not enough time for all the games dang it.
I honestly can't get enough of this show. I have rewatched all of the first season and soon I am going to rewatch this season. The story telling is awesome, and has inspired my own solo campaign and influenced my group campaigns in DND. You are awesome Trevor! Keep it up!
I think ambushing that first guard would have been the perfect time to use the Battle move, but Face Danger worked well too. I love how open the moves are in this game.
Fantastic episode! Can't wait to see what happens in the bandit camp. And to see the fate of the random urchin who finds a strange sword laying underneath two bodies at the bottom of a cliff. Heh
Oh dear lord; the imagery of Arn covering the bandit's mouth with his hand to muffle his scream was utterly chilling. I'm not sure how you do it, but I hope to be even nearly as great at improv as you are someday.
Intro dialogue was so hilarious when you mentioned about traitor dice :) Great show again! I wish you could return to weekly uploads of this wonderful adventure :)
Great episode, as always!! I have to ask... you could do a special with the behind the cameras of the show. How do you film it. Who, if anyone, helps you. How do you edit it and how long it takes. Things like that.
Those darn capricious traitor dice! And yet, such a twist when the second guard gave into his hubris and failed to raise the alarm. Another excellent episode.
Hell yea! The commando raid was so cool! I thought he'd show off how badass he is to the old man and he'd be like a loyal follower from the feat of awesome LOL Still he made quick work on them. If the alarm would have been raised, that would have been bad news bears lol
Great episode. Can't believe I almost missed it, I never saw a reminder. Things got pretty tense, you always mangage to draw me into the story. Thanks Trevor!
Found this show because of Ironsworn, stayed all the way for Trevor. I love how you enjoy the stories you tell. Went back to Season 1 and it doesn't matter is not Ironsworn, is just as enjoyable. Keep doing this please, it's amazing!.
Edge of my seat and then we come down from some epic tension. Phew! In my best Ray Stantz, "Well, that wasn't such a chore, now was it?" :P Great episode Trevor. Have a grand week!
Traitor dices ? Not so much since they prevent the sentry to raise the alarm 😅 As always, great show, great player, host and GM. This episode was exciting 😳
I just finished watching the first episode of your Ironsworn solo. I so enjoyed it I forgot I was watching UA-cam! Your productions is top-notch, your voices and acting created true immersion and emotion, and your imagination with your game - on the fly - is supernatural (yes, I know you did a little editing but it was nearly flawless)! I also liked that you didn’t use bad language(I hope you continue on this path). One of the reasons I never connected with Critical Role is the bad language. It’s just kind of took away from the professionalism for me. I’m going to take another look at Ironsworn and give it a try. Maybe even buy the hardcopies. They could thank you for that. Great work. And I bought a mug from your site. Great stuff. Best of success to you God bless
Yet another EPIC episode!! Season two is bringing the same thrills and excitement the first season brought, and I can only imagine the amazing stories yet to come! Bravo Trevor!!
Had Refr, the Crooked, joined the fray, he would have dealt with both sentinels with a single crooked gaze. I'm sure of it! Who needs the power of their ancestors when you're elder enough to be someone else's ancestor? ;)
You had BETTER be back next week or, you know, I'll have to patiently wait - on pins and needles - for the next episode. In the immortal words of Inigo Montoya, I hate waiting!
How exciting!!! What an action packed episode! Nice minis and terrain...... With all your great minis, terrain and love of solo play, have you ever played "Rangers of Shadow Deep"?
@@MeMyselfandDieRPG Heck Yeah! That's an awesome idea. The problem is that most people who like the game have already played through most of the scenarios and missions...... I wonder if anybody has created a Castle Oldskull / Tome of Adventure Design type of random mission generator for Shadow Deep? If not, there may be a gap in the market......
I guess after meeting the Overseer of a settlement in the Deep Wilds we should've expected that if we were to travel even further North that the people would be even more rough around the edges.
So at 20:50 you got a failure and a match. You used momentum to turn that into a strong hit. Do you not have the benefits of a match on a strong hit if you used momentum? Thanks
Great episode, as always! 🤩 Did you edit out the end the fight move on that last fray? Because even with 10 filled progress boxes there’s still a 10% chance to roll a weak hit and a 1% chance to roll the dreaded 10/10 miss with the inbuilt complication (in this particular case)! 🔥😱🔥
@@MeMyselfandDieRPG Oh then that extra d6 must have been what threw me off - I thought it was the last strike move. I need to be paying more attention 🤓
How I imagine Most people play Ironsworn: fantasy vikings adventuring in a low magic harsh land making Vows on iron and facing life or death and making grand quests on the scale of saving the ironlands or at least a village. struggles and hardships abound but a epic story to be told. How I play Ironsworn: Transforming Japanese superhero inspired by Kamen Rider traveling across the multiverse while fighting against both the monsters of the week, the current Vow my character is doing and above all else his own stupidity (Wits 1) while running a tavern with a group of former thieves acting as a spy network for finding the next monster of the week. 10/10 would ditch savage worlds for this game again.

That’s very kind, thank you :)
Somewhere in the south, Simon is chillaxing in front of a fire, smoking a pipe and reading a good book.
Here's hoping ;)
But what of Edbert!??
Edbert ? Probably prostrated, munbling strange words, going round on himself while being totally consumed by the fear of old ghosts ... 🤔
Having been being elected mayor of Argoston, Simon now spends his time cleaning after the embarrassing antics of his sheriff Edbert who can't seem to stop seeing ghosts everywhere.
@@rolanejo8512 I would watch that sitcom
Guards, husks and dragons are all no problem, but no man can ever hope to stand against the might of the wicked GARDENER
"Eh, must have been just the wind."
I laughed so hard.
I don’t know if I like season 2 better than season 1, but it is nice to see how coherent this story is coming together as opposed to the first.
Silly? This story isn’t silly my friend. I’m at the edge of my seat each episode. Can’t get enough of it!

I freaking LOVED the background music in this episode.
