For the Japan mission I can confirm in August 2023 that this still works. Had to restart about 10 times. The targets on this level have facial bandages if you don't want to keep restarting and hunt them down instead. I only saw 2 of the possible 3 targets. One guy has a big gauze patch over his eye. The other guy has gauze and bandage on his eyes and nose

What could be a great thing, to have a replayable elusive target that you could kill in different ways is hindered by the fact that you have complication factors which limits your scope of action
For me, placing the gun on the floor in the catacombs made the target go get the attention of a different guard instead of the enforcer that is following him. I found that, putting the gun on the opposite side of the door works too if this is happing to you.
I had the strangest thing happen. I got past the angel of death, left the level, silent assassin and all, and the game locked me out and said I failed the contract
Unfortunately Level 5 is impossible without a key card or scrambler. To get a key card requires a KO and there's nowhere to hide the body. So it's simply not possible
Maybe if you have a crazy attempt and try to unlock the door with a assault rifle XD , none of them are silenced tho but would be impressive if you could get away with that hm maybe you could use the remote explosive too
Came here to learn how to do the 5th one since I did first 4 yesterday. Log on today and I was reset back to 1 didn't fail or anything. Thanks for the help though.
It’s actually a little easier taking these runs and just bringing items that make the run a little more convenient. I’m glad to see you having fun with this game again. Got all 5 levels beat with silent assassin. Thanks buddy keep up the good work
I also really enjoyed Level 5. I was not aware of opportunity to kill when he pees. After trying 3-4 different strategies using different unlock gear, I did it silent assassin suit only, one pacification, starting from Attic location and using only Tranquilizer gun and Sieker(Digital Scrambler not needed). I got card from outside guard by tranquilizing him(1 pacification allowed), dodged the camera to door, and In the final room, I sent both guard and non-target outside to vomit, killed target and disabled all cameras. Finally exited like a badass 😎
Recently got into watching your videos and love them. Keep up the great work. This arcade mode im very disappointed in it feel nothing but laziness from them. I really hope they don't mess up freelance. I really hope they will add money that you make from completing missions and use it to upgrade your hideout.

IOI hard at work patching out viable strategies to make the ETA even worse than it already is: The electrocution strategy for The Identity Thief is no longer working (he walks past the puddle). There may be other strategies in this video that have also been patched out. In The Angel of Death, the target used to go into the bathroom with one guard when hit with an emetic, she now goes in with two guards, making any strategy but rushing her on the roof null and void, because of the pacification limit.

First of all, thank you very much for the video. And for level 5, the black hat, i think you could use explosion device on the same floor, close to a monitoring area, there is an explosion device, a guard is smoking next to it. and the explosion device could blow the door open too.

I hear you don’t get any unlocks from doing these. I don’t understand why they choose to keep suits locked away forever. It makes no sense they spent time making them and no one can enjoy them.
Ok so for anyone who’s having issues with the Priest not being in the same spot to shoot with the Sieker, he eventually does go there at that time! You just have to keep restarting until he does. Edit: this is probably a coincidence, but he only ever went to the middle when I knocked out the dude on the phone and got the Chapel key lol.

The first target stepped right over the gun. His bodyguard told another guard to take it away, and none of them reacted to the coins I threw 😂 time to re-start my Xbox apparently
Are these worth doing? I got kinda burned out on Hitman 3 after awhile and was excited for the year 2 stuff but I’m unsure about these. Also, it’s incredible you got these videos out so fast, great work!
The new level later in the year is the best part of year 2 plans otherwise kinda disappointing. But I haven't done HM1 or 2 elusive targets so something new for me (admitally in a harder form with the complications)

I can't see why the randomness in level 4 in Hokkaido is a bad thing. It gives you 3 independent kill opportunities from which I think you have chosen the least easy one. I have thrown the Rhinoplasty guy off the balcony in the Zhen garden using nothing but coins. The eye patch guy is really easy. Turn off the hot water in de Spa and close all the doors. You can murder him and throw him off the Yoga-deck. I do struggle with level 5, for me that is senseless hard and way to restricted. Just one possible strategy. I just keep failing that one... Thanks for the clear videos on the arcade contracts. 👍🏻
Level 5 is beyond silly. I get there and have been caught now twice and killed. I kill a guard and steal his outfit from the attic in the bathroom. It should let you start where you left off not the whole start over
game is on game pass so lots of new plays def great call and decision using default. But would love to see you do a master version where full tools available.
Yeah after I just bought it all for literally 90$ and all extra content. Now I come to find I wasted my money and I'm not very happy. In that situation I should be reimbursed some cause now everyone gets it without paying a Dime besides there gamepads fee. But I pay it as well so🤷♂️
I got an immediate fail for emetic poisoning the first target, forcing me to wait 12 hours for another attempt. I had already knocked-out one person to get a disguise, so I guess em-poisoning counts as “pacifying” since it failed me immediately after I em-poisoned the target. Might have been a bug, but knowing how often IOI actually fix their bugs, it’s safe to say it’s staying in the game permanently, bug or not. Like every other fucking bug in Hitman (2016) that carried over past Hitman 2 into Hitman 3.
Great video, thanks! For the Black Hat, the only way I could come up with for a somewhat democratic (no mastery) loadout was to place a duck and blow the door. It's a lot more chaotic and you risk getting spotted unless you backtrack a bit.
@@MrFreeze2244 Yep, true. Only other thing I could figure out which is not suit only is to get a bodyguard disguise and head over to the other side of the attic to grab a breaching charge. Place the charge at the door, backtrack, blow the door, and wait for guards to settle down. Then I followed your garrote strategy from there for SA. Thanks again!
you actually can hop over the railing in the sapienza elusive target, i did it several times on my way into the church and leaving the church on launch day
For level 4: You can start in the kitchen already disguised as a chef if you have it unlocked. Get an emetic poison vial into the back of the kitchen. Start the level, retrieve the poison vial, poison the wine, and your "target" should be there to drink it right after you poison it. No need to wait 2-10 minutes if you have those unlocked.
You're right, I said there was quicker and easier methods right at the start of level 4. There's a link in the description of easier and quicker methods of it
I throw a bomb from a hidden spot then run up the stairs. You can slip through and they won’t chase you. I’m not sure if AI was adjusted to ignore it though. The first time they chased me.
The spawns were weird for me he would either roam around the gardens or enter the basement he would never leave the basement as i tried your strategy and while I was in the basement trying to 'fart' him with a brief case the barstard came down and spotted me
ok I tried to do the angel of death but this stupid npc that will literally seek you out and follow you around keeps screwing it up so when MrFreeze says use the waiter start location do it it will save you a headache.

@@MrFreeze2244 There is nothing wrong, I am just suggesting other beginning as I think it is quicker and more straight forward (than getting security outfit and crowbar). The rest of the approach is the same when you are downstairs in the security room.

Please help after downloading this update the game won’t launch. Xbox. Do I have to uninstall and reinstall? If I do will I lose progress? Also, the final level of seven sins never loaded either awhile back
Finally got it. It was a sloppy last run I got busted everytime I tried but the small delay in response allowed me to get out so it was a 2 star game on my last run. I may try it again to see if I can do better. That one is tough
In the level 4, I recall doing it as separate kill one time before and Diana gives clue about kind of surgery target is undergoing, like eyes, nose, ear. And I was able to kill correct person using that. Not sure if same happens for this one.
FYI, if the npc's arent in the same location just wait 3 minutes or so and you can follow the guide as shown. the only thing i did differnt was brining a lockpick into the mission instead of the fiber wire

Should've listening to you. In the fifth target I thought it would be easier for me to take disguise of a guard near Helmut Kruger, so I took it. After all I climbed the pipe, and was surprised, that mostly all guards in the attic are inforcers. But in the end I arrived in a cabinet and broke targets neck. But the guard heard it and now I have a lockdown :/
Great video as always. Do you know if sedating counts as pacifying with regards to that complication? Also, do pacified NPCs count as being unconscious for the 'Hide All Bodies' complication? I was tempted to take the Kalmer along with me for the final target but didn't want to fail at that point having gone through all the others.
The Prince's loop is so different on my game than yours. He wanders around the church for a while and the priest with the hat is loitering around and catches the broken door before the Prince does. Infuriating.

I've tried everything. Exploding a door open isn't new information to me. There's not a consistent run there.

This helped a lot! The guy actually called the soldier following him and was an easy target after that :)
I didn't care about the score I just headshot him fast when he goes outside to pray on the behind the morgue, and it's fast and easy this way
I loved that when you were about to enter the kitchen in Hokkaido it starts playing Hong Kong Streets. Totally suits the mood haha

He walks past if you're not placing the coin of course. The coin is the whole reason he goes over it

Yes, the result of that is all scale alert for all the guards, whilst there's no where to hide. It's not a good idea, I already tried it.

if you dont have the emetic gas device, use the chef starting location and keep brute forcing it until it works

Please help after downloading this update the game won’t launch. Xbox. Do I have to uninstall and reinstall? If I do will I lose progress? Also, the final level of seven sins never loaded either awhile back
I have had to uninstall the game on XBox. When I got it back on the system, all progress was still there

Finally got it. It was a sloppy last run I got busted everytime I tried but the small delay in response allowed me to get out so it was a 2 star game on my last run. I may try it again to see if I can do better. That one is tough

They're not challenge packs anymore but the challenges for those packs are still there in Hitman 3

In the level 4, I recall doing it as separate kill one time before and Diana gives clue about kind of surgery target is undergoing, like eyes, nose, ear.
And I was able to kill correct person using that.
Not sure if same happens for this one.

For some reason the npc postions are all wrong on my side (playing on pc) the priest is not even in the basement and im right on time there
FYI, if the npc's arent in the same location just wait 3 minutes or so and you can follow the guide as shown. the only thing i did differnt was brining a lockpick into the mission instead of the fiber wire

Should've listening to you. In the fifth target I thought it would be easier for me to take disguise of a guard near Helmut Kruger, so I took it. After all I climbed the pipe, and was surprised, that mostly all guards in the attic are inforcers. But in the end I arrived in a cabinet and broke targets neck. But the guard heard it and now I have a lockdown :/

You can find out which target the fugitive is by using the directors computer in his office.

Great video as always. Do you know if sedating counts as pacifying with regards to that complication? Also, do pacified NPCs count as being unconscious for the 'Hide All Bodies' complication? I was tempted to take the Kalmer along with me for the final target but didn't want to fail at that point having gone through all the others.

The Prince's loop is so different on my game than yours. He wanders around the church for a while and the priest with the hat is loitering around and catches the broken door before the Prince does.

Break open the door when the prince is actually down there then and not before
