Mirusia - Christmas is Here Again | Sand Art Video Clip by Lee-Anne Byrne-Sturgess

"Christmas is Here Again" is a new carol recorded by the international star, Mirusia Louwerse and accompanied by the Sandart images of Lee-Anne Byrne-Sturgess. The carol is written by Jon Seccombe, a finalist in the Open Doors Song Competition. Post production by Frank Li.
The Sandart images capture the way that Christmas is celebrated internationally and blending European, New World and Australian Tradition.
Visually, the deep blue night sky echoes the evening sky the shepherds saw and the evening star, the sign for the wise who followed it, melding with the Christmas tree, candy canes and presents, reminding us of the warm, familiar family home and the iconic fireplace where stockings hang.
Candles and holly are lit on the mantlepiece for a European Christmas but with an Australian Christmas tree decorated next to it.
Jesus is at the centre of the picture and the gifts are presented to him humbly at his feet. The fireplace transforms, becoming the stable with sheep, horse and even a reindeer; observers to a humble yet miracle birth.
Mary is a cameo of stillness and collected feminine dignity and peace: a solid figure as a forever blessed symbol of the enrichment women bring to the world.
The dawn comes on a Dutch city with its towers and churches, the Sydney harbour bridge becomes a church. An angel comes down with trumpet to announce the birth of a holy Saviour.
In Australia, a typical family has arrived by train in the city to marvel at the spectacle of the annual David Jones emporium display. (Do you perhaps recognise this family as Mirusia and her husband and daughter?) Every Christmas the windows are full of visions of Christmas history and tradition. A man (Jon Seccombe the composer of this song) leans on the window to look deeper within searching for meaning in the images which the singer reveals.
Back in Europe it snows and we have a white christmas.
The singer, Mirusia, has done her work.
Christmas is here ...again bringing new hope and meaning to our world.
