He didn't have a religion but he was spiritual. And, I agree with him about the Bible. It's a conclusion I myself came to at 16, a year or two after I was baptized - as an introvert who tends to question and ponder on things alot. Not only does the Bible tend to contradict itself and is filled with absolutely abhorrent (not to mention archaic and many times barbaric) acts and teachings, but it really doesn't make sense that an all knowing God would lack the wisdom and foresight to not intrust the teaching of his testaments to corruptible fallible humans who'd gladly omit, add to, and change scriptures if it suits their agenda. He'd also know our experience with this aforementioned negative side of human nature would lead us to question the scriptures' authenticity. And then, there are big things such as the passages about Him intentionally hardening people's hearts to Him, or Him being all knowing and that everything happens according to his plans but yet he's still willing to give "sinful" people life and banish them to eternal hell even though He knew everything said people would do beforehand and even "wrote" it out for them that way - so, you'd have to question free will. Doesn't sound like a very loving God to me. It sounds like it is all a game to him. Which, according to the Gnostic Christian teachings (scriptures the early churches tried to destroy all evidence of) sounds about right for his character - particularly the Old Testament God that in their scriptures is actually the evil one.
Religion within itself is a hustle that’s why you gotta watch out for all these fakes who use god for their own reasons nd personal grains. So when people say that believe in god as far as understanding we all have a source we all created from. As far as the ability to create life through god

I guess we’re opposite because I believe in God, but I don’t believe in religion. Religion in my eyes is a man made idea to make someone feel superior than another just because of “religion”. But no matter what “religion” you dive into, basically all the messages are the same which is to be good caring appreciative people. People get too caught up in who the messenger (religion) is, that they don’t care to hear the message.
A lot of the so-called man of God, pastors, preachers, or whatever you want to refer to the mass abuse, the belief of god. And that is why he was speaking of the tactics, and then Miss representation of what God is there a lot of manipulators out there and if you’re not careful or misinforms, those are the people we get taken advantage of. The term religion in my opinion, and that what people have been told can be misidentified and turned into a hustle that is why it is hard for a lot of people to believe and what a so-called preacher is talking about. Seems like a lot of people use the Beliefs people have, and God is the way to spin it for personal grains: that’s what we gotta watch out for

God is not a religion , but a spiritual Bond. Also catholic is a branch of Christianity. It’s not separate from Christianity.. there’s Hinduism , Islam , Christianity, Judaism .. that’s it.
Christians and Catholics are the same thing lol. Also Muslims and Christians believe in the same God, just disagree about Jesus. Same could be said about the Jewish faith.

have you read scripture ? Don't base scripture off of what evil people in the churches did. Read Scripture yourself.
