Gobou is gobou, but the fact that he's much less creative with his mix ups now compared to before tells me the nerfs went too far. I miss seeing this man go truly crazy, and it's what made GG unique tbh. Let's hope this is all just temporary adjustments while the game's roster and mechanics are not all implemented yet.
You know, they didn't really need to nerf Zato when all the system mechanic changes were all gonna nerf him. But nah, Arcsys decided to meganerf his Eddie respawn, flight, get rid of his unique burstbaiting, nerf some buttons... They could've left Zato untouched and he would've naturally fell down the tiers, but I guess Arcsys just really hates Zato players.
The problem with s3 zato would have been that he can stall for eddie gauge extremely efficiently resulting in incredibly consistent pressure as long as he has burst or meter up if recovery time didnt get touched.- And ofc all that used up burst and meter would quickly recover during positive bonus if a single touch landed during said consistent and long pressure.

@@mosesslai you're really gonna act like johnny can't play the game because of his dash? Characters have different strengths and weaknesses from each other it's how it is. All the lowballing and downplay of Johnny just sounds like "my skill set or level of play isn't at a level were Johnny feels scary". That does not mean he is bad just a lot of people that want to play Johnny are not congruent with him. But I guess fuck it get him buffed and we'll have xrd all over again cause being effective and broken are the same thing to you people I guess :/.
@@zachstarattack7320 Arcsys design is very inconsistent but what is consistent is characters feeling strong. For whatever amount of weak characters are in their game I think it's double more common to find a strong character. Current strive imo(you don't have to agree with me) has no bad characters. However the bottom 3 could use some help and top 6 can chill a little but comparatively to other games, a lot of games have unplayable, unviable characters. All 3 currently played Guilty Gears including Strive has only mid tiers and up
