Socials of some players can not be found (players with default nicknames, some Asian players, etc). I am convinced that it's extremely dishonest to tag contacts of few people and not to tag all the rest, so there will be no social links in description.

Someday we will look back and just ponder what Zato did that made Daisuke hate him
I forget where, but in an interview long ago, Daisuke Ishiwatari stated that Zato was their favorite character, so the nerfs have nothing to do with them disliking the character. The problem is Gobou - Gobou has the Midas Touch, so every character they mained became too strong by many Asia top players (RF placed Zato in top 5 in season 2); and from my understanding, most of the nerfs/buffs, etc, are based off of the GGST Asian player base - which is why Goldlewis kept getting nerfed each patch after Gobou became a threat with it; I-No gets nerfs due to Daru, despite having a low player count in NA. The same thing happened with Asuka; after Gobou's performance at GGST GGDO, ArcRevo Japan, etc, ASW made adjustments to Asuka's kit targeting Gobou's solitaire playstyle (Mana regeneration/auto import spells), and making Asuka's howling metrons slower overall, because Gobou was locking people down with just those cubes alone.
Like Zato, before Asuka got nerfed, Asuka was also (and most likely still is) high in the tier lists in Asia - Gobou put them at top 5 or higher before the nerfs. I honestly think that Asuka will end up like Goldlewis, nerfed after each patch, and then maybe buffed after 2-5 patches of nerfs, because Gobou admited that he was the reason that Asuka got nerfed, but that the nerfs are also not a big deal overall.
In conclusion, if your character is considered a top tier in Asia, chances are, that character is getting nerfed - now how hard, depends on how strong that character is considered - it's nothing personal against said character, it's just to preserve the player base...

I was really hoping he was gonna get a bit more this last patch to acknowledge how much he was gutted.
He still has his stupid sequences but using Eddy in neutral feels like throwing sometimes now

@@tulaamami7759 Legend has it that there is this interesting fellow named kozonaki izumi (I think that's his name). Who watches videos like these but, specifically regarding Millia and her only. He downplays her quite a lot and he isn't particularly friendly. From what I've seen he doesnt like GGST, Top tiers, Daisuke Ishiwatari, or Arcsystemworks. If you ever run across a guy with a Millia pfp and and angrily complaining about her having "no options" that's him.

Bug fix, and slight buff to invite hell, so the same as last patch.
Not in a great spot. Still oppressive when on the front foot but if you fall out of applying pressure or Eddy gets clipped you gotta survive for awhile.
December patch brought a small improvement to invite hell advantage which was welcome but after the august patch of really nerfing him
invite to the moon 5head.
In all seriousness it didn't really change shit, the new invite hell conversion occurs after corned c.s2h invite, and nets you a f.s invite, or off of a meaty invite hell you get an okay route, but you tend not to land either of those starters raw at this level.

He can't autopilot everything 100% of the time so the zatobros are horrified they have to interact with their opponent at least once per round. So yeah obvious bottom 1 honest dumpster tier

Why is everyone doom posting about Zato here as if he didn't win the set? If anything i wish Jack-o would get buffed back to normal cuz they keep nerfing her in season 3. It sucks
Because Zato got hit the hardest in terms of ALL previous top tiers. Even Sol didnt get hit this bad.
REMINDER: there are fewer things that are as UNMANLY as complaining about the "strength" of your chosen character in a videogame. Watch Gobou´s Zato if you want to see how the character is meant to be played: you´re supposed to properly squeeze out every bit of strength, you´re NOT supposed to ever be blocked once you win neutral, you ARE meant to recycle the different meters into each other and be constantly creative with Eddie in neutral; Zato has amazing tools, you´re just not meant to let the opponent get used to them (as with the rest of the cast).
Ya but why does zato need to be min maxed to the point only the absolute top tier players can make him viable and even then nobody wants to do it. Then then u have characters like ram and sol who hold forward and are rewarded for zero thought or skill. Dont even get me started on Nago the changes they made to him just shows they want this game to be decided by who has more meter and who is more agressive and happens to get lucky in neutral. The eggshells zato players need to walk around to even be viable is ridiculous. They made changes that are just stupid if u thought longer than one second.
@@maxrusty3596 The reality of playing a game like this, unless you are one of the 10 people in the planet that actually want to win a tournament, is that you play them because they are COOL. It´s hard to argue that Zato isn´t one of, if not the coolest video game character ever created. You min max him because it´s a fun challenge, and it looks AMAZING when you do. There are characters for every kind of person, Zato is clearly build for people that want to swim upstream and try hard, that´s why I play him. I also think it´s perfectly reasonable to win with him. Is he weaker now? Yeah, but it makes looking forward to whatever new move he´ll get all the sweeter. AGAIN: it´s REALLY unmanly to complain (in life in general, but SPECIALLY about a character in a videogame). Complain next about how unfair life is for the player that starts with black on chess...
I dont think its that hard to win with black at lower levels either.
And as a man i will complain when and where i want to. I can call out bullshit when i see it. And this balancing is trash. I hate the way the devs want us to play the game. And btw i also think zato is the coolest designed character in the game.

Arcsys honestly is a top-notch game dev, really outclasses everyone by a huge HUGE margin in fighting games in my estimation. The art, animation, game design, music and sound... Other fighting games feel RETARDED in contrast, as if made by animals/children. So there´s the "compared to what" dimension to this.
The reality is all characters are more than viable, super diverse, intricately put together, a JOY each and everyone of them. Sometimes they´re a tad too weak or strong, but that´s part of the fun. If you want a really really balanced game, play chess (which you should it´s ALSO a gorgeous game), and there again, if you want to complain there (to impress all the ladies) you can... as whites have quite the substantial advantage there.
