No it's a DiMarzio ToneZone DP155 ;) In comparison to the EMGs it's got a ton of low end, so I had to change my guitar sound first. But it's also way more defined AND warmer than the EMGs, it's a real pleasure playing lead stuff on that guitar.
+Ristridi Sounds good. You would likely need to try the EMG 57/66. Kinda like the perfect middle ground between passive and active. Great job on the cover man. Love when the younger crowd pays homage to the legends of thrash etc.

The tone is awesome, and it was very refreshing to hear, considering that this album, while amazing, is plagued by some of the very worst production of any Metal albums, ever. I mean, the Demo for this song, has way better guitartone and general production, than the final album version :( When are you doing the title track then? That one is such a riffmaster.
