Coron, Palawan is one of the most famous places in the Philippines. And that has a good reason. It's super beautiful around here. But as it is at all famous places: It can get very crowded and feels super touristy. So my friends and me decided to leave the tourist areas of Coron and discover what the other side of the island has to offer. We didn't see any other tourists as we rode along the roads, stopped at some villages, met locals, tried some food. But not all things went as planned that day and we were not sure if we can reach our goal to find a beautiful beach for sunset. 09:19 - My brother had been to Cologne and Heidelberg in the army together with American soldiers and according to our German food and drink customs some things are very strange for us. E.g. the Americans put icecubes into hot coffe and cover the pizza with ketchup so much, until you can't regognize, what is underneath the ketchup. Very strange for us, isn't it?

For granulated instant coffee such as Nescafe, it can be dissolved directly with room temperature water or even cold water, but for ground istant coffee, it must be brewed with hot water.

Yes we make iced coffee at home with nescafe gold instant coffee, a bit of room temperature water, then ice cold milk and a couple of iced cubes.
We haven't had hot coffee for a few years!
Maybe you can get a chest mount for your camera as riding one handed seems dangerous especially in the rain 🙏

Been around there, more than ten years ago, on a smaller island, at that time entire Palawan was a mystery, only ElNido was considered for tourists… I see from your video nothing has changed actually…
I’ve also rented a bike, and i got a hole in the front tire, TWICE!!! In the middle of nowhere, with no phone or gps reception, it was also raining… hell of adventure, too long of a story but in the end i managed to get back to Coron at around 3am after many hrs of struggle, wet and under the moon light.
Sounds like a real adventure 😅

Hey Ken .. was it easy to rent a motorcycle ? How much was it and do they check for motorcycle licence or is driver's licence okay ?
I got it from my hotel, the price was 500php per day, which seems to be a normal price in Coron. They didn't ask for licence or passport, but if you rent it in a shop (and not your hotel) they might ask for it
