AoA Insights: Money Matters with Joanne Danganan

  • Agency of Assets (AoA) is an acclaimed fellowship program offering youth development opportunities for High School teens through field trips; Summer employment opportunities in the arts and culture sector; and collaborative art-making for an exhibition at Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (ICA LA). AoA Youth Fellows gain critical thinking skills and leadership experience while also receiving inspiration and motivation to explore careers in the creative economy.
    From 2020-2023, Agency of Assets developed a series of video interviews with dynamic leaders who work in Los Angeles and contribute to the creative sector through education, activism, and art.
    This series was created to provide the insights for youth on such topics as:
    -Action Culture with Mike de la Rocha, Revolve Impact
    -Social Engagement with Rudy Espinosa, Inclusive Action, and Ruben Ochoa, artist
    -Money Matters with Joanne Danganan, Financial Beginnings
    -Artist Life with Beth Pickens, writer, and Shelby Williams Gonzalez, dancer/artist and executive director of Inner City Arts
    -Sound Check with Jaz Vargas, Mija Management, and Amindi, singer/musician
