That shout out to Robin Hood Men in Tights. Quality film. It's also fascinating that you slapped some UV resin on the eyes. Have you ever shone a torch at a spider? It's eyes do that thing cats eyes do and reflect it back. Really creepy if you're not expecting it.
Holy cow I love your hand made miniatures so much. I've said it before, I'll say it again - you should consider making Firelink Shrine from Dark Souls 1. There's a character who sits there wearing plain chainmail armour which I bet you could make really nicely. Also who doesn't love an iconic set of overgrown ruins? Also those tracking shots of the spider webs were so satisfying lol

3 butts is a snowman, and definitely not as menacing as a giant spider. Your hobbit details are awesome! All of your details, actually, rocks, texturing, webbing, lighting, Shelob-the-spider, etc. are excellent! It was nice to see Sam and Frodo face Shelob together in your BookNook, unlike in the movie, the poor things.

I have a terrible idea: Create the scene where the Nazguls attack the hobbits on the big hill (where Frodo got stabbed) but make the hobbits surround the Nazguls instead and the Nazguls back to back defending the ring 😂
You can always make a paste out of pva glue, das clay and water and use it instead of texture paste. It is much sturdier and easier to fill cracks and work with in general. If you can mix the paste really good, it might have a special, lumpyish texture that helps covering that dull foam texture!
