Ex-Accountant General Believes He Won't Be Tried After Cooperating With EFCC

- The immediate past Accountant-General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris said he thought he would not be prosecuted over alleged 109 billion naira fraud, which he is being tried along with three others. Idris said he decided to cooperate with investigators from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC and provide them with the information they wanted, to ease their investigation, with the belief that he would not be prosecuted.
