This is absolutely incredible, focuses more on why we ride mountain bikes rather the riding itself. So many other videos focus on doing the coolest trick, roosting corners, or having a ton of style when what really matters is why we ride. The same can be applied to so many other mountain sports. Beautiful cinematography and fantastic editing.
Nicely put, but to answer your question why we ride, others ride for the coolest trick, roosting corners, and ton of style for that matter. To each his own and this is Claire's own story -- every other rider has their own.
@@lamefart I think more trying to get at the fact that most people ride bikes because of the freedom and fun of it. It just seems that there are so many videos out there that just show super cool riding without incorporating the fun that the riders are having into the video. This was just a cool video because it focused more on the freedom for adventure that bikes give us rather than just having a bunch of super sick shots. Everyone enjoys different aspects of the sport but I think that the one thing that everyone enjoys is the freedom that bikes give us. I just really enjoy seeing videos that focus more on the adventure than the riding itself.

@@willwanovich, agreed. I think it hit you that way because this was more mainstream, so to speak, but showed why a rider rides mtb. There are lots of UA-camrs, smaller content creators, who just record videos of them enjoying their rides. Even UA-cam channels with large following show their passion and why they ride their bikes and share them with their audiences. It's not hard to find. You should get to the another side of UA-cam mountain bikers then. This particular video even have super slomo shots of cool riding while others just showed their rides where they carry their audiences with them and share snippets of why they ride mtb as well. Danny Mac, the Athertons, Seth, Phil, Alexander of Singletrack Sampler, BKXC, BCPOV and Yuka, Syd & Macky, Jordan Boostmaster, Scotty Laughland, etc have been showing us their passion why they love mountainbiking. You just have to find their particular video(s) where they discussed it...
Amazing cinematography with an absolutely incredible person. Clair Buchar is such a legend and such a down to earth human being for the immense accomplishments she has had. This is the kind of work we need to see. I really appreciate and enjoy this video.
Stunning cinematography! Love the (cable cam?) chase shots especially. Also the green, yellow, and orange leaves on the trail were beautiful. Excellent work!
A mtn bike video has never let me feeling so emotional. Partly because its an incredible price of Art and Flow and partly because I have two daughters and I see them in this.
Amazing Video!! Keep on doing what you love. The day you stop loving, is the day you start to die inside...keep on riding those mountains!!! Stunning cinematography!!!!
I have a mountain in Texas I'm 95% sure I've ridden more than anyone. It's an offshoot ride, not known or ridden by many I feel I'm King of the mountain ua-cam.com/video/gvqPyEuCAA4/v-deo.html
Yes, opinion, the picture is fucking gorgeous. Music, not so much. The interview music is fine; the riding shots score was not a good match for the images.
The cinematography in this is absolutely incredible. Seriously incredible
Like incredibly incredible jajaj. I thought the same
Ha, I live here...... What a treat to see her ride our trails like that!
