Really innovative idea’s for using BIG patterned paper! I personally like to “fussy cut” and I like big designs, so these idea’s work great for me. I have to admit I never thought about cutting out the big words on a 12x12 and using them on a card but it REALLY WORKS! We all have these 12x12 printed paper packs from Michael’s, Hobby Lobby and Joann’s thanks for all the idea’s on how to use them in ways other than a 12x12 scrapbook! Thanks!

So creative. I am a beginner and it takes me ages to figure out how to use the designer papers I have. I started this hobby to get the old brain cells in shape and oh my goodness are they getting a workout. It's slow going but satisfying.
Definitely! And when you find a layout you like you can make it lots of times with different papers and embellishments and get different results every time! So much fun! Enjoy your crafting journey!

When I have 12x12 I'll cut them into 4 1/4 × 5 1/2 panels with the white showing. That way I'm not over thinking what I cut and they work pretty good as a background panels.
I love doing surgery on big sheets and seeing what new elements I can get. I love this video. Such fun cards. I love seeing more fussy cutters lol

You have some great ideas, Sarah. Such a helpful video. Love the music you have for the sped up parts, too.
I have used some of 6x8 sheets this way...cutting out motifs, words, etc, using the leftover backgrounds to die cut new words and letters. I was stumped with some of my 12x12 sheets, though, and just cut them into 6x4 rectangles, so I could store them in my smaller paper pad crate, for cards, later. I'll have to give them another look. I did make small boxes out of some of the cut apart pages, though. And framed a pretty pumpkin, and a gilded turkey page, in pretty, inexpensive scrapbook page frames.

I love your use of the corners of those sheets! Gave me ideas as a scrapbooker (since i don’t make cards) to cut apart borders as a group or individually. I also pick up sets of cards at dollar tree for cutting apart; pictures as well as for the sentiments. Thanks for the inspiration!

When I look back at my first videos I can see how far I've come, and i know there are also still plenty of things that I want to improve, but I'm hoping that will come with more practice! Hi Joan, I appreciate your feedback and I'm so sorry it's distracting, but unfortunately it's our neighbors, not anyone in my house, so there's nothing I can do about it. There are also only certain times each week I can film, so I have to make the most of them or not release a video at all.
