This is my favourite song. It deserves more popularity! It's very pretty, and Gumi sounds great. If new Vocaloid fans weren't obsessed with the first, most popular songs, and these kinds got more credit, I think the community would grow again!
I'm glad most of the people who watched senbonzakura and rolling girl etc. once and called themselves vocaloid fans are gone, lol. Some really good lesser known stuff in recent years and it's nice that there's less songs that are made just to pander and rack up views. Plus there's Project Diva games coming out pretty frequently and they even got localized too which no one thought would ever happen, honestly it's a great time for vocaloid right now.
Axsen _ yes those are really good songs, but yes i really like the songs that are obscure to America. (sasakure.uk isn't particularly big in America, but in japan he is freaking huge)

What I catch from this song is the girl realized that the city is Patchwork Eden, the TV guy noticed this and kicked her out to the fall out zone/trash heap which is now grown with flowers as you can see in end of ALONE to ALONE MV. Still got a lot to discover these amazing works.

The slot machine melody being a reference to the lyrics about buildings being randomly destroyed and replaced by new ones is a nice touch. It all connects to the title as well.

She does normally sound very real compared to other vocaloids, but in this case it doesn't even sound like Gumi is singing. before no matter how real she sounded she would still come off as a vocaloid. here it's like all of those minuscule traits that identifies her voice as "Gumi the Vocaloid" are gone. It's not something I've ever heard before, and I've heard hundreds of songs with her.
