Hey Xavii, soap has two uses it can either get rid of paint for structures/weapons or can be used to store organic poly. Since soap requires 3 poly and 2 oil you can grind the soap up in a grinder and get poly which makes some people make a ton of soap then grind it up when they need organic poly
You only get 1 Polly back not worth

The hardest part about being a solo isn't the survival itself, it's learning new things. There's a lot of PvP technique that you just don't learn because you have nobody else to share knowledge with. Your skillset becomes very niche to your playstyle and the biggest way a solo stands to gain from the game is to play with other people for a period of time to learn from them. Until you do, you mainly learn through your failures and seeing techniques you weren't aware of before used on you.

I have played about 700 hours of solo PvP on ASE but never done any PvP since I was a trader. Watching this brings a whole different perspective of the game to me and it is insane. Please keep playing this solo character :)
what is a trader? and how can you not participate in pvp if you are trading on pvp server? (If I'm right with trading bred dinos, lol).

Soap cleans your body when you’ve played ark for too long
soup is good for tummy
Soap can clean dyes off or you can grind it into organic poly (you can make it with organic poly and oil so it's a way of making organic poly last forever but you lose half in the process)

@Xavii soap is for washing of paint; in ASA they can also be used with the spray-painter which is nice and since there are more color options now i guess people use it more . ^^

Soap takes paint off of things, but also grinds down into oil and organic poly, that is why it is in a lot of the asa drops.

Soap cleans dye off of things, but more importantly its a way to keep organic poly because you can grind it down, you only get half obviously but it does work.

soap is a good way to save your organic polymer because you can craft it then use the indistrial grinder to get it back

tame quetzal solo is easy. I have tamed about 20 of them solo (1200 hours.) Grapple and move command. Spam that comma key. It works on a flat plane IE the ground to move tames, but also works in 3 dimensional space for flyers, has a max range of like 65 meters before you have to move command again. I just spam comma and fly in front of him and as he flies in to me I headshot and then move to follow. Goooood luck :)

You can tame a quetz solo by getting a tapejara, getting it slightly encumbered, then whistle attacking it on to a quetz while sitting in one of the transport seats to shoot at it. I'm of the opinion that anything can be tamed solo if you creative enough :)
Xavii that plant x base in the beginning by the raft is the entrance to a rathole.
I have 2100 hours and am still addicted. I literally don't consider that amount of time a lot because it easily racks up between 3-7 hours a day. Playing nearly everyday

soap on unofficial servers is often used as element so it can be transferred to other maps

Soap can be used to remove paint from objects in your inventory, and structures. Additionally, it can be ground for Org poly. It's kinda cheap to make 2oil/3poly, so if you have a grinder and some poily that's going to go bad just soap it to grind it back later. Assuming you've got the oil to spare.

I’m at 800 on ASE and I plan to complete every map used to play PvP so I’m gonna end up at well over 1000 maybe 1500
You can solo tame a quetz by having your Argy carry a scorpion, and having it attack the quetz as you follow it around staying close. At least, it worked on ASE, not sure about ASA.
Using honey to lure it to ground and into a trap seems easier.
@blackhat4206 Never tried, cause I was unaware we could lure it with honey. I like to think of the Quetz as a sky rock, and the scorpion as an dodicurus, and I just fly to it, and hit it like I do when gathering stone. That's it. It falls to the ground, I set up spikes around it, and done. Ezpz.
at 19:24 the plant species is for a rathole but that rathole counts as meshing now because you have to throw a tame inside to get in. it is inside one of those 3 big rocks

since you said it’s hard to see there is a mod (at least on console) that reskins all pearls underwater to old pearls it’s a little unstable tho causes some crashes so i don’t use it anymore

I usually bite the titan 21 or 22 times to get it as low as possible with the thyla so it doesn’t take forever with your crossbow

soap is use to wash body paint off of your ark charcter. or you can convert organic poly into soap and grind it back dpwn so it doesnt spoil.
is it just the graphics settings that make all the stone appear as if its floating?
i solo tames a quetz, get grapple hoods, jump off ur argy and grapple it as ur falling, then use whistle to follow the quetz wile you shoot it. a pain in the ass but it works.
