  • Raw footage of tram ride from Mangyongdae Guyok located near Mangyongdae, the famous birthplace of President Kim Il Song via Kwangbok Street that was completed in 1989 and construction was guided both by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il themselves.
The tram route itself is running from Mangyongdae district to Pyongyang Railway Station
You may spot some of the famous locations within the footage, such as Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace (1:55), Chongnyon Hotel (6:07) or Pyongyang Circus (7:50).
Unfortunately, as we have been behind the schedule of the day we had to stop the trip and move into the bus to be quicker transported to the other part of Pyongyang. The line goes further to the Pulgun Street, passing through the Pottongang Station, Sinso Bridge and to finally reach Sosong Street leading to the Pyongyang transport hub which is Pyongyang Station. From this place you may change to multiple trolley, bus and railway lines.

From my understanding, you’re allowed to take photos and videos as long as it’s not of something that makes the country look bad.

That tram can't run at night. The country doesn't have enough electricity to do that.

@@MasterKenfucius how do you know whether trams go at night or not? North Korea may have less light polution because of energy saving, but you can't know how bad their situation actually is and whether they have enough electricity for trams to run at night or not. It's quite possible they do, and you're simply spreading misinformation based on assumptions
