- Part 2: I continue casually looking through glassines in this collection while talking shop :). This video finishes off almost all of the mixed glassines consuming about 1/3 of the top of this box. There is still so much material in there even after this video!! I expect this series will run longer than 3-4 episodes, which is what I was expecting!

Thanks for telling us about that stamp identifier app. That’s going to come in handy. I can’t afford a Scott catalogue at the moment. And you can laugh if you want but what I have been using to identify my stamps is the mystic catalog lol
Hi it's Carrie & I think you are doing a fine job (above & beyond) going through my stamp's. And as I said before I think the best are in the bottom of the box.

I like the tete-beche pair from Romania. Did you notice in the India glassine that a couple of them were from Portuguese India? What type of album do you have? Do you go to stamp shows? You can be more selective in what you buy at a show.
I hadn't noticed the Portuguese India! I don't go to stamp shows. I have been leaerning what I am is a solitary collector but I do intend to go to a show at some point. In my personal collection most of the albums I have built so far are US. I spent over a year making my US mystic hingeless heirloom albums from 1847-1966 - 3 albums - and 1 hingless heirloom BOB album. Before those 4 albums I made my Grandpa's collection into two albums, US and worldwide. Now I've spent the last 6 months on my giant worldwide album. I still have a ways to go until I'm acutally finished with it but if you've seen the video I made of it, I have made huge progress since then :). No albums for a specific country besides US so far in general.
Nice hoard of low-end stuff. Fun for a basic world-wide collector with a big semi-unoccupied album and gobs of hinges. By the way: have you considered single country collections (of a country or area you like) from our friends in PA?

Kyle my friend, I hope hip stamp reimburses you and stops messing with your history! Couple of comments, 1st, shame on anyone who would accuse you of cherry-picking! 2nd, not everyone would take the time to do this for free for a follower and I personally can’t wait to see the bottom of the box. Lastly, you have amazing technique when it comes to using tongs with your baseball-mitt size hands! Always good seeing you in this forum. ~ Donna

Part 3 ended up being us finally finishing off the mixed glassines fyi. Part 4 which I am about to film today we get into the better looking glassines beneath 😄
That really pisses me off what hip stamp is doing to you right now. Hopefully they admit they made a mistake and fix everything with refunds And apologies. Hipstamp seems to be a reputable and reliable platform so I’m hoping everything will work out in your favor. Please let us know the outcome of the situation.
It turns out the issue was with my hippostcard store. My intitial email was about two extra subscription charges to that store and not hipstamp. The customer service rep confused me by sending a screenshot of my hipstamp store... Sort of my fault for not realizing he did that and forgetting which store my issue was with. I actually realized this the other day and they assigned me a new rep who apologized for the confusion the first had caused. Then they refunded me the $249.99 for two extra inadvertent additional annual fees. They said somehow my store was deactivated and then reactivated twice and they apply a new subscription fee everytime you reactivate a store... So, they still totally overcharged me but not to the extreme I originally thought after the rep confused me. Yikes, lol. What a mess.
@@KylesStamps That’s great that you figured out what was going on. Makes a lot more sense now. I’m glad you can continue on there and not have to go to eBay now.
