- Bad holiday experience.
This is me being total open and honest about my trip for my mum's 70th.
Absolutely appalled by the holiday company I went with and the hotel I was put in.
I'm taking you on the journey with me on hopefully getting all the rectified.

Good for you Sally, keep fighting for what you deserve. It’s awful that people are treated that way. How upsetting and horrendous your first hotel sounds and the holiday company owes it to you to get your money back plus compensation surely? Glad you have a solicitor now to do what they should have done for you. They just don’t care about people’s health etc. Good luck and I hope it goes in your favour x
Well done Sally for fighting this. I gasped out loud when you mentioned what the company offered you, are they for real?! I think they do forget that people spend their hard earned cash for their holidays, and if someone spends what is a considerable amount of money, they deserve to get good value for their money. Sally, you’re quite right go for it get every penny you can back it’s a disgrace, theses people are terrible, they couldn’t care less about people it’s all about the money, it was a lovely thing to do for your mum and family, I can understand why you feel so bad about this I agree with you 100% get every penny you can get back, make them think twice about doing this to anyone else in the future not even considering the stress it caused you and your family. Hoping everything goes well for you and that your future holidays are far better.
You go get em Sally. Rip that bone to shreds. I have no words for what you have been through.. It should be ILLEGAL, PERIOD, ILLEGAL. BLESS YOU. So sorry Sally!! Just maintain composure as much as you can! Dont lose your cool, just provide the evidence in court and fight fight fight calmly! Back in 2009 we went up to the mountains in Branson missouri at a cabin for my mom. She ended up getting bit by a tick and made her extremely sick. Took photos, and off to court we went because my mom did have that lyme disease bullseye rash. It was disgusting, ticks EVERYWHERE! The hotel gave no cares about it, supervisor didnt apologize, all they said was we could go fishing for free the remainder of the vacation 🤦🏽♂️. Off to court we went and won!
Disgraceful, typical of a lot of customer support around, noone seems to give a damn. You go girl, kick some butt for you and all the others who are fed up with being swatted away like flies, I wish you the best luck and look forward to hearing the updates x

My mum and I were delayed and when we put the complaint in the tour company didn’t want to know, so I know how annoying and stressful it can be to get these large travel companies admit to any liability. I know my situation is nothing compared to yours.xxx
Keep fighting Sally, it’s not fair is it, they’re quite happy to take your money off you but when there’s a problem they don’t want to know, well it’s not good enough, hang in there Sally all will come good 💕 xx

Awh Sally, my heart goes out to you, it’s disgusting when these companies think they can take you for a mug but good for you for standing up to them, I really hopes it all works out in the end. Thank God your family didn’t experience serious health problems, how do these people think they can treat people like this and get away with it, they wouldn’t like their families to go through that though, would they! I had a hideous holiday in Marrakesh some years ago, vowed I would never go back. So sorry to hear your story, you have all the evidence, Keep fighting xx Best of luck to you ❤️
This is horrendous you are right some travel companies treat their clients with contempt they need to be held responsible we go to turkey every year to the same hotel that is wonderful and we travel with a big English company but their reps are sometimes dismissive because you do get problems and we traveled home last year and had a problem and the travel company did nothing if it is the one I think it is I hope you get your compensation

Take them to the cleaners Sally, hopefully you will be able to get your money back and more besides. I hate how companies treat us like shit when you've looked forward to a great holiday and paid out hard earned money and you're let down. It's not on, so go for it Sally !!! xxx

So Happy Sally you're fighting your corner, these fatcats hope when people complain they can justify & keep them quiet with a meal voucher so annoying, yes I agree its not all about the money but as you say would be if you dont own a credit card or max'd your card out prior to holiday wishing you all the best you go for it Sally xx

I had a similar situation, you know when they say the call is being recorded for training purposes, that’s when I said that’s good because I’m also recording the call for legal purposes. I also said I have a UA-cam channel and would use it as my platform to get the message out there as to how crap their customer service was, let’s just say it was all sorted and appropriate refunds made within a couple of days, if that’s an admission thou don’t know what is.
