I remember when 28 Days came out, I thought “I need to meet this dude” lol And then he was in big movie and happy for him but I thought to myself “no chance now” 😂😭 He has such a unique gorgeous face and that accent 🫦🔥🫠
I have been a zombie fan ever since I saw the 1968 night of the living dead. I find it upsetting when people refer to this film as a Zombie film. If people can pay more attention to the first 5 minutes of this movie, they did explain to the viewer that the apes were INFECTED with a man designed virus which made the infected go silly. 😵💫
@@RK-eo8glI agree. They are not zombies or a part of the zombie lore, they are Infected. It's an amazing movie and one of my all time favorite movies of any genre. It's not a zombie movie, but a horror epidemic movie. Also, Return of the Living Dead had the first running zombies.
Return of the living dead did zombies way earlier, but the infected in 28 days later did have a certain something, the fact they were infected with rage, rather than actually being undead, made them viscerally terrifying
@@TheGeneralDisarray Yes, Return of the Living Dead was the first with running zombies. 28 days Later had zero zombies in it. The people were Infected. It's a Masterpiece of a movie, but not a zombie movie.

He did well in 28 days later , he was cool in person , very melo guy , i wish he was in 28 weeks later , if they make 28 months later put cillian back in the films
@@twilightresonance1789I’m sorry, but your wrong , as it literally is. The rage is literally just a modern interpretation of zombies, it was even conceived as such by the films director Danny Boyle. He, and I quote, said “what if we made zombies run”. Hell, even if the zombies in the film weren’t zombies according to Danny, the film still falls within the zombie genre due to its exploration of a post-apocalyptic world, societal collapse, and the struggle for survival against a relentless and inhuman threat - all common themes associated with classic zombie narratives. Point and case, 28 days later is absolutely a zombie film.
@twilightresonance1789 It's generally accepted as a zombie film. In fact it's not even the first to feature running zombies (Murphy is wrong on that point in this interview) as I'm pretty sure 'The Return of the Living Dead' from 1985 holds that title. But also in that film, the zombies were basically unkillable while also being kinda intelligent and even able to communicate in a simple fashion.
Se Cilliam atuar num filme em que ele não precise abrir a boca para fala, já conquistará bilhoes de pessoas, imagem falando! Que homem perfeito! Qual será o defeito dele? ❤
I have seen this movie many times and haven't seen one zombie from beginning to the end. How did I miss seeing them, by any chance were you referring to the Infected? 👹. 😂
I remember watching this movie when it first came out, it was so great. First film I’ve ever seen him in, didn’t know back then he’s become one of my favorite actors.
My first contact with this actor was in 28 Days later and I thought he was already brilliant in his acting performance and he actually became more. Congratulations 👍
Actually, Return of The Living Dead was the first zombie film with fast, aka running, zombies. But, 28 Days Later was one of the first British films to have an Irish hero lead in it. Also, there's some debate as to whether this counts as a zombie film because they're zombie-like, but not by definition a zombie.
To be fair, the definition of a zombie is heavily debatable, as in their conception, they had nothing to do with the interpretation Romero had. The first film about zombies was titled “white zombie” and it depicted the zombies as vudú slaves, not brain eating corpses, so one could argue that isn’t fair to call a zombie a zombie just by how their most popular interpretation (Romeros work) made them, in which case the term zombie is much broader than just that, and can perfectly apply to the 28 days later version of a zombie apocalypse.
Danny Boyle is amazing. The first Trainspotting was my intro to him, I remember being so excited for 28 days later to come out after that. Ah, to be young lol

I kinda don’t, only because I feel like if they bring him back they’ll end up killing his character or something and that would infuriate me.
