It's pretty doable without money if you play on the Flashpoint map (just Europe and parts of North America and Africa), as there are less players per game making it less likely to run into one of the pay-to-winners. My strategy is mainly to spam mechanized infantry and blitzkrieg surrounding countries one by one. If someone is spending money it's usually pretty easy to notice when they effortlessly 5v1 or something, at which point I just leave immediately. @@damir7768 The Soviets could not have withstood the full weight of the German war machine by themselves. German military power was diluted by fighting in North Africa and in western Europe. A concentration of Germany’s resources entirely devoted defeating the Soviets would have won the war in the east. German armored / mobile units often surrounded Red Armies but couldn’t prevent their escape due to a lack of men to seal the huge battlefield areas. More manpower for the Wehrmacht would have solved this problem. The early success of Barbarossa caused a food shortage in the USSR. The Soviets also lacked the production capacity to manufacture trucks they desperately needed. Without trucks they couldn’t move artillery. The Allies of the USSR made up the shortages the Soviets were experiencing The US and the United Kingdom shipped massive amounts of ammo, food, communications equipment and trucks to the Soviets. Below is an answer I’m recycling that touched on this subject. Germany would have won WW2 if Britain accepted Hitler’s generous peace terms. Peace with the British would have allowed Hitler to become the master of Europe. The British upper class supported Hitler and certain politicians felt it wasn’t worth “Dying for Danzig”. Churchill resisted this heavy pressure. A settlement would have granted Hitler a free hand in the East. He would have won his war against the Soviets due to the elimination of major problems before Barbarossa commenced. Problems solved by a Anglo / German peace include: No Western Front would exist to drain men, arms, fuel and industrial production including for the coastal fortifications and guns. 1,900,000 Wehrmacht served on the Western Front at “peak deployment ”. These troops would have been released to the Eastern Front. Total German losses on the western front between 1944-1945: 263,000 - 655,000 killed - 400,000 wounded - 4,209,840 captured. 5,000,000 additional German troops would have faced the Soviets. It’s unlikely the Soviets could withstand the weigh of this massive deployment. ]The entire Wehrmacht plus their equipment and weapons would have been deployed in Operation Barbarossa. This would include the 1,977 planes lost in the Battle of Britain. The British would have supplied oil and fuel as part of the settlement. The oil fields of Romania would have escaped Allied bombing. Germany’s chronic oil shortage would have been eased or solved. No lend Lease war material would have been shipped to Stalin. The USSR’s shortage of ammo, communication equipment, trucks, food and weapons wouldn’t have been overcome. The US supplied 375,000 trucks alone. Total trucks including from Britain: 450,000. With Britain out of the war Hitler would not have declared war on the US as an inducement for Japan to enter the war. Hitler stated “the Americans are in this war already attacking our ships and suppling our enemies”. With the U.K at peace President Roosevelt would not have had reason to involve America in another European war defending the USSR. The war in North Africa would not have occurred. The Germans lost hundreds of thousands of men, 2,500 tanks, 8,000 aircraft, 70,000 trucks and 2,400,000 tons of supplies plus millions of tons of fuel. More German troops were captured in North Africa than at Stalingrad. The full weight of the American economy and manpower (130,000,000 population) would not have been deployed against Germany. This means no US bombers striking Germany military production and synthetic fuel plants. Based on the numbers above the Soviets could not win WW2 alone.
@@Sean-yk8he Do not forget that USSR wasn't prepared for war. They even had armistice with German and were supplying oil. On the other hand, german have been preparing since Hitler is in power, and they also got alot of tanks, planes, and supply because of France's surrender. This is an automated system located all over the country (Russia), consisting of a huge number of sensors and computers, which constantly analyzes many parameters offline. Checks seismic activity across the country and other indicators. And if someone organizes a massive attack with the use of nuclear weapons on the territory of Russia, then even if all the people are destroyed, this system will autonomously give the command for a massive retaliatory strike. And from all the surviving underground mines, submarines, ships, etc., nuclear missiles will be fired. That is why it is called the "Dead Hand" according to the NATO classification, because even if all the people were killed, the retaliatory strike would still destroy all the enemies.

It is a question of how fast countries could increase production. In short scenarious like above it wouldn't matter. Time of war requires sacrifices from civilian population and I have big doubts that modern US citizens would support any big war. Same goes for Russia.
Strictly speaking, all major powers believe that the next wars will all be "come as you are" affairs given the proliferation of long range guided missiles and speed of modern warfare making the continual production and fielding of new equipment within the time it would be useful almost impossible, this is why both the United States and Russian Federation have massive stockpiles of both modern and mothballed equipment ready to be fielded or repaired and fielded in a very short amount of time. While it was a major factor in the wars of yesteryear that went on for years at a time and moved slower, modern wars between major powers rarely last more than one year. Countries will in fact rely on the available military hardware they have.

The U.S can Invade Russia like they did a long time ago but they won't stay in Russia but they will cause a lot of damage and could cripple Russia's economy but that would hurt American interests in other ways globally and the US armed forces are undoubtedly superior to those of Russia.
We all know what the US does if it has been angered by countries, it wastes no time and attacks. But this time it has been found wanting. @Vinlon Vossthe problem any army has with invading a country so vast is where does it stop? Lines of logistics and occupation forces in occupied territory will diminish the advance force numbers.
I am actually sad that most of the Binkov's comments are either American biased, Russian biased or just day dreaming without watching your video carefully. Anyways great video as usual.
No, man, this video is biased. It does not take into account modern Russian weapons and many of our defense systems. On paper, everything was smooth, but the ravines were forgotten - a Russian proverb. Hitler in his plans also captured the USSR in 1 month)). And how did it actually turn out? We all know)).
For example, such simple things are completely ignored here. What is America's greatest strength? 1) In an aircraft carrier group. 2) In aviation. All this in conjunction works closely with satellites and reconnaissance aircraft. And now what you forgot to take into account in this video: 1) Russia has the most advanced air defense system in the world, capable of shooting down both planes, drones, missiles, and satellites. 2) Russia has hypersonic missiles, from which the US army has no protection. This means that all their aircraft carriers will sink like tin cans in the first minutes of the war. Also, at the very beginning of the war, their satellites will be destroyed. Reconnaissance planes will also not be able to receive information because of our air defense. If they get close, they'll be shot down. What further will the Americans fight? They will not come to us by plane, as they will be destroyed by aviation.. Will they go to Russia on tanks?: D Well .. good luck to them)))
@@CETGale Well comrade, start the invasion of Siberia. And we will solve the problem with Biden. We will make a sea strait between Mexico and Canada. Stalin Sea Strait.

The premises of the vid is that Russia takes half of Ukrain, well Ukrain is not part of NATO, NATO does not automatically become involved.

NATO is a "defensive pact," but realistically speaking I don't think there's any way NATO (or the EU) would sit on their hands if Russia invades Eastern Ukraine.
The Allies of the USSR made up the shortages the Soviets were experiencing
The US and the United Kingdom shipped massive amounts of ammo, food, communications equipment and trucks to the Soviets.
Problems solved by a Anglo / German peace include:
No Western Front would exist to drain men, arms, fuel and industrial production including for the coastal fortifications and guns.
Who tf wouldve guessed their own ally would be crazy, or maybe stupid enough to attack them suddenly like that.
USSR power were also spreaded at that time because of its worry against japan near manchuria. In short, German almost got moscow simply because they betrayed their unsuspecting ally, the unprepared USSR. When USSR finally got hold of the situation, they literally beat the german ass in every battle straight up to Berlin, and USSR havent even begun their war industralization yet.
On the other hand, german have been preparing since Hitler is in power, and they also got alot of tanks, planes, and supply because of France's surrender.
If it were 1 on 1 since the beginning, or USSR had expected war between each other, placed their army in the western part of the country. The german wouldnt even get near Moscow in the first place.

@Lucas Guldager That's right, we are not the United States to attack with atomic weapons those who do not pose a mortal danger to us.
@Lucas Guldager But in Russia there is one system that I would like to inform you about, it is called "Perimeter" or "Dead Hand".

Lol, the US military has been in afghanistan for 22 years and the taliban still have control around 70% of afghanistan
Fair, but consider the way that war is fought:
The Taliban fight with hit and run, hiding until they can find a weak target to catch off guard, similar to the Vietnam, Afghan is a war of the hearts and minds, and similar to Vietnam, the US isn't very good at that.
Those sorts of fights are effectively impossible for an army as massive as Russia's, or America's for that matter, to pull of, so it would be more similar to the 1991 Gulf War, except with balanced levels of technology and manpower... until someone pulls out nukes but then we're all fucked so let's rule that out.
Wholly different scenarios. Conventional wars are different from peacekeeping wars. A conventional war ends when the opponent has no more official military might to fight against their opponents... And the winner gets to keep what they've conquered, if they so decide to.
A peacekeeping war is a defensive war from the outset, with the only objective being to smack down whatever is causing problems, and stabilize the region.

Why don't you take into consideration the manufacturing capacity of both countries? At a time of war, countries will not simply rely on the available military hardware they have. A country will mobilize its economy for war production. Wouldn't that change the outcome of the war?

Reconnaissance planes will also not be able to receive information because of our air defense. If they get close, they'll be shot down.
What further will the Americans fight?
They will not come to us by plane, as they will be destroyed by aviation..
Will they go to Russia on tanks?: D
Well .. good luck to them)))
Invading Russia is easy, many have done it in the past. Going in was never the problem, getting out has always been the big problem...
Russia doesn’t have the population to do that anymore. It’s actually been decreasing steadily since the 90’s

Hitler, Napoleone and now Biden ? You are welcome, comrads.

How about you Russians helping us get rid of our "Biden" problem...?
@@CETGale Well comrade, start the invasion of Siberia. And we will solve the problem with Biden.
We will make a sea strait between Mexico and Canada.

You forgot to mention that a war between these two nations would be devastating to the rest of the world. You talking about two of the most advanced military powers the world has ever seen, with the most numbers of nuclear weapons. Hope this never happened.
Exactly, because regardless of who “wins” both countries would be torn to a junkyard
China is now more powerful than Russian

@@Loubie2005 No Russia is still fairly equal to the USA. May be in a few years time. No doubt in a conventional war the Chinese would win.
the analysis does not make any sense. There is no way usa can take war to Russia's border because they would never win, this would intern lead to economy collapse, fall of the union and decimation of entire us fleets
You make good points. That's why it's an unrealistic hypothetical like the begining disclaimer says. Just a fun comparison, not a objective judgement of reality.
