My old violin teacher used to call these” little gems”. They have been stuck in my head for 60 years. Good to discover these great performances. Amazing the talent out there.
Certainly, one of the best I've heard. The last dance is electrifying. No hesitation or uncertainty. The third dance with its beautifully controlled harmonics is ethereal.
Simply great. Although Bartók was one of the most known Hungarian composers, he collected tons of folk songs, dances and folk music in Transylvania as well, so he knew the Romanian soul and folk music well. But so that it all can be felt, such great and authentical musicians like you are needed. Thank you for the experience, indeed. Special thanks for the high quality sound that made the experience intim. Greetings from Szeged, Hungary.
Nice performance. But, are there 5 or 6 movements? Editting: Grazyna Squier commented, below here, that there are six movements, the last two connected. Thank you, Grazyna!
I've heard Bartok several times, piano and violin pieces on romanian dances. However only after hearing your play of these dances I've started to feel the Romanian soul in his music. Can't stop listening to your interpretation! Amazing!!!
@@ericcoleson7410 Hi, I am Romanian. The Republic of Moldova was indeed a part of Romania. But Moldova (its original dimension) is larger than the contemporary Republic of Moldova. Part of Moldova is the Republic, the other remaining part is a region of Romania which is called Moldova as well.
I've heard several interpretations of these Romanian Dances but none had the Romanian feeling that Rusanda Panfili evokes, specially the third dance... sublime !
I got on the internet this morning to find a good recipe for biscuits for my gravy....I was distracted by this awesome and beautiful young lady playing the violin! Rusanda you are awesome! Enjoyed every second of your playing. THANK YOU!
Yes one of the best academic version, Rusanda is great, sorry for Bella Bartok, but sound better when Taraf de Haiduks perform, sounds more romanian...
Thank you for an amazing performance! I've been using it to learn the Romanian Dances also, and I love all your phrasing and expression! I wish you all my warmest and healthiest wishes from Canada!
Thank you so much - I used to play this and it was one of my most favourite suites - wow you play it almost as well as me (lol) - Love it so much - my dad was a violinist and introduced me to this - you play it properly
But sometimes it wasn't straight... However, she didn't hesitate when she made a mistake in the bowing, she tried to make it sounds bettet and I respect her confidence intensely 😊
What a surprise and what pride to enter by chance to listen to Bartok and see besides the talent of the violinist Venezuelan talent on the piano, greetings Alfredo, thanks for such great music.
Je découvre ces dances avec un immense plaisir ! Le violon et le piano s'accordent merveilleusement bien ; un subtil dialogue s'engage entre les deux, et nous enchante
Bela Bartok is an amazing Hungarian musician and composer that has had left lasting traces both at home and abroad . To construct modern Turkish music on the newly established republic out of the ashes of the Ottoman Empire , the founder of the contemporary Turkish Republic , Mustafa Kemal Atatürk invited Bartok to make a research on the ethnic tunes of Anatolia . Bartok travelled to the interiors of Anatolian plains and highlands , listening to Turkish folk music, recording them and exchanging opinion with the local population . Each time I listen to his music, I pay my respect to his immortal soul and Hungarians . We Turks are closely related to Hungarians as they are also a Turan origin peoples . Besides Estonians ,Finns , Bulgarians are also of Turan origin. Thank you for the share . With love from Turkey 🇹🇷 to Hungary 🇭🇺 , Finland 🇫🇮, Estonia 🇪🇪 and the rest of Europe. ✨💐👏🍀

(And everbody likes it. 😳)

fabulous. excellent violinist. she plays this like it's in her blood.
Well, looking at her name i have no doubt she is Romanian, so she has it in her blood :D
Quick research tells me that she's Moldovan. So, technically, she's not Romanian, but it's incredibly close.
@@stefanstate3210 She was born in Moldova , sometimes part of Romania .
The music is based on tunes from Transylvania , nowadays part of Romania.
Hmm. Ever look at a map?

The dance on harmonics, third one, your interpretation, is STELLAR!!!... Galactic!!! Vibrato on harmonics, each of them a masterpiece in itself!
She's dynamic, powerful, and delicate as well. Congratulations! You mastered your instrument. Now you and your instrument is one.

Yeah, I can relate to that.
I started with Batman stuff and ended up here :)
I started with how to hide a body...
Oh well, I am here now 😀
That’s just how it goes. Gotta start somewhere else to get here
Played 'with much skill & thrill', the piano as well as the violin. How tastefully they handle the scores ... Very, very good!

Incredible. I am learning this for my grade 8 exam and this is very inspirational. You have captured the character so well. Thank you very much
this is amazing. but now I understand: our violist is from Moldavia. The country with a hart for good music and good wine.
The best performance of those dances!!Bravo!!!

I agree
You are a source of inspiration - playing with gusto, gorgeous execution and relaxing ease. Bravo!
Your bow technique is just perfect! :D
Great interpretation especially on the last Dance I think :)
But sometimes it wasn't straight...
However, she didn't hesitate when she made a mistake in the bowing, she tried to make it sounds bettet and I respect her confidence intensely 😊
Thank you both. I like your bowing a lot.

are you kidding me?amazing!
Its magnifc 🎉🎉🎉🎉 its so perfect❤❤❤❤❤
what is there to dislike; it is beautiful
I have played all seven on flute and i absuloty love them
That 3rd move,emt was amazing
Fantastic. 💖
Beautiful🥰
All of it was amazing but those artificial harmonics were some thing else! and the intensity of the last bit! love it!
The false harmonics are "creepy" and haunting.
I guess I will go to practice now... with the only difference that my 3. mvt sounds like a cat dying
:-(
It sounded like it was one continuous artificial harmonic. I kept waiting for it to go wildly astray but it never did.
Finally a relatable comment!!
