thanks for this!, why when i am trying to input the coordinates (project base points) that was given to me in the EIR, revit refuse and it shows me an error message that base point can't be located far than its started location than 15km
Unfortunately this approach does not work if your Revit models are hosted in the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC formerly BIM 360). The Publish Coordinates command is disabled and the Aquire Coordinates command needs to be used. It would be good to have a very detailed video for a setup with multiple buildings on one site. I could make that video but would prefer if someone made that has more following and is in the UA-cam game :)
Does the site file acquire coordinates by modeling creation with the DWG inserted? Or, at this stage, are the coordinates from the DWG also published to the site file? Subsequently, the coordinates from the site file will be published to the ARC, STR, and MEP files.
@@bimandbeam965thank your sharing! i have 2 qeustions. in other yt share, they say is a disease if aquire the cooridnates from DWG? i just want to know why(even my practice is same to yours) second, if some MEP or STR models already “be shared coordinated” we cannot pulbish the coorindates to them. so how to resolve it? i think this is a common challenge for users:< Thanks!!
sorry ,stipud question , is that be more nice that the survey points always keep 0,0,0, for all differnet models but they work in the same site??thank you very much.
YEsss. This is what I am searching over 1 years. Thank you so much...
Glad I could help!
Now it makes sense, your video is very educational.
I already resolved several doubts I had.
Thank you for your feedback, glad that you liked the video and happy that you resolved your issue also 👌👌👏👏

in total, we acquire coordinates from dwg file into the site file , then we publish the coordinates from the revit site file to all disciplines
