The song has a great theological point: the golden thread is Christ's union with his people. These songs have lyrics that mean
something, and even if they are a little weak in areas, they were helpful to me in my early Christian walk. They were not just entertainment, but more. Is that just me, or do others concur?
With the voices and talents of Michael Gleason and Warren Hamm, combined with Kerry Livgren's everything,,,,, how could you go wrong................?

I had this album on cassette back in the 80s. Haven't heard this song in ages! Wow. Great stuff! I forgot how good this is. Thanks so much for posting it!

09/20/09: As of this date, Kerry has sufferred a massive stroke, although he is currently very well and improving daily.

Too 80s for me, but I have always had great appreciation for Livgren & Hope - especially to leave Kansas at the height of its fame...

The GOLDEN thread is the thread that leads from the sacral lower to the pineal gland in the head the higher. This is the Christ risen!!
