Johnny Kee Vegetable Garden

One of the most popular shows for us in the past several years was with Johnny and Linda Kee of Beebe, Arkansas, when Johnny demonstrated his bean planting process using a variety of tillage tools behind is garden tractor to prepare a seedbed and plant the beans. Today Johnny planted six rows of sweet corn and showed us the rest of his gardens and what was already emerging. Johnny also showed us the composted organic matter he amends his gardent with and explained how it has benefitted the soil, and he and Linda talked with us about canning their harvests. We'll show some of that footage in the next few days. All this will go into several episodes in the coming months, as we hope to return and check on the garden progress and learn from Johnny and Linda's techniques.
