I was smiling all the way through the intro you made to this video. Not only shows your skill and experience but most of all are the big smiles, having fun and living life to the fullest.
Hay Buckin! Love them double bits! Me and my boy split a load of locust rounds, I taught him how to flick. Army let’s make this world a better place right now, do your part. Thanks Sam
I like the picture of you and your boy on top of that huge stack of wood. Looks like your Hart was over flowing. Awesome video brother, love it!!!❤️❤️👌👌
Hey Buckin Billy Ray, started following a month ago from Charlotte, NC..You are the best man! Learning all new ways to cut, chop, split, buck, and fix. Keep up the great work and we’ll be watching! Regards, Sean
Welcome to the new subscribers and a salute for the true blues...Great to hear the woodman tune ...and love seeing dual tree falls... top vid mate , keep dry mate , won’t be touching my double with a file... 🤪...love to all ,be kind , love and hugs for our cynthinator and mama buckin...Duffy..👊...😎👍🇦🇺
I love seeing your axe collection. It gets me pumped up and wanting to go split some wood out back. Ive been working on my own collection and hope to see a buckin special in mine someday! Have a great day ppl; Its great to be here.
Great video to start thee morning. My wife thinks I am nuts but I have started buying older axes at the auction and either reviving the old handle and reseating or replacing the handle.
I have a double bit that is significantly longer on one side I think I'm gonna leave it and see what happens! Thanks for sharing all of your axe knowledge with us.
Hey Buckin love the axe videos that's not to say I don't love all your videos. Thanks for keeping the good stuff coming so often I know you're a workin man I really appreciate it all the best from Northern California
Good evening from Europe! Thank you buckin'! I'm so happy when i see new videos come out! Keep going! Your knowledge about this stuff is helping us so much!
Hey Buckin, I can understand how you'd rather take your time building your axes instead of just cranking them out for money. From your videos I can tell you're passionate about the process, and each axe is a work of art. Keep being you. Peace everyone!
hi. when a was kid back in finland,we had a grindstone wheel and turning that wheel for hand. allways when my father come home from working in woods in evening. a heard, son come and turn that wheel for me so a can sharpen my tools. good memory. was starting to thinking to that when you did grind that ax head.
Hi from down south 🇦🇺. Your handle work is bonza and it looks like you’ve got your paws on a great tassie splitter head there mate. My old man would turn in his grave if he saw you sharpen it like that though! Blunt force trauma is what a lot of these axe heads saw splitting redgum and iron bark! Keep up the good work mate!
Top of deh mornin to ya lads n’ lassies! Let’s remember our bodily pain and discomfort does NOT need to dictate our mental suffering. Manifest. Work on changing the exterior and what you feel on the inside will follow. If you don’t feel the best physically, that’s okay. Smile. Wink, nod take interest in SOMEONE or something other than yourself and feel that back pain dissipate. Love y’all from Maine to Florida, California to Nova Scotia
29 and two back surgeries already. Pain is my number one threat that can easily change the way I treat people. Pain talks. But that voice of pain needs to be put away because my pain is NOTHING compared to others with legit pain. I am able. And willing.
Avoid further surgeries Find a good trigger point muscle therapist Most pain is caused by tight muscles and there are trigger points that can release the tension. I've been getting trigger point lately and a few aggravating pains that I've had for years are disappearing. Just one of many suggestions. I'm 65 and have been blessed by a few second chances at life. Be kind to your body and your mind will thank you.
NICE INTRO!!! Great memories. Forgot about that time the Woodman deadlifts the two large trees over without benefit of axe nor saw nor hand grenade lol... Other classic clips: The famous 5-tree domino effect Buckin leaning back in the cut with some red and orange leaves drifting down--purdy in slo mo! Behind the back axe throwing bullseye 1-2-3 Go! Various logger happy dances, or its distant cousin the seldom seen Hippy Dance
Oh yeah and a few years back you were bucking a big tree--like 4ft diameter big, and when the bar finishes the cut is dead on perfect, like a 4ft table top
hello buckin, this woodman song in combination with the sweet memorys has such a great energy!!WOW thanks for the plumb making scene.where is your white truck? have a great day everybody and stay as awsome as you are, friends!LOVE WINS,i know it!!
Morning army! Starting to cool down in my neck of the woods. Hand split about a cord of wood so far this week and feelin great! Everyone have a fantastic Thursday!
Hey Buckin Billy Ray I got my new Husqvarna 460 yesterday evening and I have it put together already but the bad news is I have to get to sleep after I watch this video and I got to go to work tonight at 5:45pm so unfortunately I won't have a chance to play around with it until I get off work again on Sunday morning. I love your channel and I love ya brother.
dunno if anyone gives a damn but if you are stoned like me atm then you can stream all the new movies and series on Instaflixxer. Have been streaming with my gf during the lockdown =)
Heading out right now to put in an hour or so on my chopping, working on my "Fitmanship"!!! Peace and blessings to all comrades and new subscribers! 💪❤️🪓 Lieutenant Bradley
I know you have a bad back too I threw my back out a couple years ago splitting which I love to do. Is there any stretches that you do before you start that are good for people with back injuries? If you do maybe include your pre splitting warm up in a video one day when your splitting. Thanks for the content. Cheers from Michigan.
hey buckin' I've been putting some axes together i and really one of those double bit "adirondack" handles would go really nicely on this big kelly perfect head that I have. I cant find anyone who sells them online. where did you get the ones you used for the "laser beam" axes
Hey buckin' a friend from Michigan here. As a man who soley heats with wood i would be extremely interested in a buckin' splitting ax. I dont own a log splitter myself and split all my wood with an old Norlund I hung on a new handle about 3 years ago.... before that it was strictly a maul. But yeah I'd buy a functional splitting ax for sure
Trying to keep up with newer content : impossible Trying to catch up with older content : impossible Trying to live happy and be as kind as possible to all people, animals and plants... Getting easier all the time. Absolutely love the enthusiasm that Buckin has toward many things and folks and jobs... It's a wonderful contagion. But be aware folks, your health is your wealth. Stay strong by being kind to your body. Your mind and spirit will follow.
Nothing like a little “Woodman” to get the morning started! If you don’t mind Buckin’ send a little rain down Arizona way, we could sure use it! Have a great day everyone, be kind!
I'm hoping someone from the bucking kindness army can help me. I have amateur questions. If youre willing to answer amateur questions please reply to my comment...
As always, great stuff! To go along with Buckin’s great stuff I found a new channel that also has a lot of great ax information. The channel is “Kevin Kevech.” For guy’s interested in learning about felling, limbing, bucking and splitting East Coast trees Kevin gives excellent instruction in safe and efficient ax use. He’s another true ax man! Over the 50+ years I’ve owned and used hatchets and axes I’ve seen a lot of people who used axes but few that were true ax men. Buckin’ and Kevin are among the few!
Hey Buckin I just want to stop and tell ya that the positive message you are speading out there has helped me immeasurably. It was the spark that lit the way out of a very dark place I was suffering in. I want to thank You Brother. How's about an axe history/collection video?!
Nice opening compilation! The Ish Aussie axe should be the prototype for your forged Buckin axes.
Jeffrey. I’ll put money on the fact Buckin will improve on any existing profile👍 I’m excited to see what that road holds for us😃
Just make sure your axe head has a splitting profile, I’m game.....!

How long is a full cord if 18” peace’s 1 row and how hi
A cord is four foot by four foot by eight
That’s right⬆️ A cord of wood is 128 cubic feet however it’s stacked!
That’s why 16” wood is easy to calculate, because 3 stacks deep is 4’.
how mutch its one foot in millimeters, just wondering because here doesnt use that
Mika Häkkinen 25.4 mm to the inch, 12 inches to the foot
@@pacificcoastpiper3949 ok. thanks for the answer👍👍👍
