there are 5 kinds of n95s. but if you want to put it in the basic way theres only 2 which is the n95 and the n95 8gb. the n95-1,n95-2, and n95-3 are the original ones while the n95 8gb-1 and n95 8gb-2 is the one in this vid. just look it up on youtube there are lots of vids on both!
I have these type, both of them is still alive and work properly. Should i say, N96 maybe slower than N95-8Gb in loading, gaming, and boot. And the speaker is better on N95-8Gb. Even the battery has bigger capacity. But n96, is multimedia phone and so its cpu (STN8815) designed to multimedia. The clock seems slower but it does the job. Its better at video decoding and format support. Some video (223mb / 3 minute video ripped from DVD) that lag on N97, N86, and even at n95 can be played flawlessly on N96 . And it can standby longer because its optimization. N96 is totally trash at firmware v10/11. You need to upgrade the firmware to at least v12 it will speed up your N96 to 300% than old firmware. If your front and back camera work properly, then you can advance to v30.33 because it have better camera result but if you don't, the camera will not work at all.

omg this makes me soooo glad that I decided to get another n95 8bg rather than pay the extra £100 on ebay for a slower, cheaper looking and bug riddled phone. I was just looking at the gaming of these two as well and the n96 was just awful!

the n95 is better...i have n95 and my dad has n96. he treats the phone like a child and still he managed to scratch the phone and its only 2 days old...the slider on the n96 is horrible aswel, i mush rather the n95, way more sturdy and built alot better.
