- In this video, i have explained about Brickbat Coba Procedure for Roof/Terrace Waterproofing and discussed together material requirement and cost.
This is a traditional method and reliable waterproofing work. It is very helpful for thermal insulation.
The thickness of brick coba should be 120mm to 150mm and it should not be more than 150mm. If we increase the thickness of brickbat so dead load of slab will be increased.

Brick Bat Coba Waterproofing Procedure-:
1-: Clean the roof/terrace surface properly and Level Spot Marking
2-: Waterproofing Coting minimum 2 Coat.
3-: Mortar Laying (mortar ratio 1:4) & thickness of mortar is 15mm to 20mm.
4-: Brickbat Laying and 15mm to 20mm gaping between one brickbat to another brickbat.
5-: Fill the brickbat gaping with mortar (mortar ration 1:5)
6-:Mortar Laying with Waterproofing chemical (mortar ratio 1:4) & thickness of mortar is 15mm to 20mm.
7-: Need finishing with cement slurry and thickness approx 4mm.
8-: Curing and Testing work.
