    Thx for the tips Big Brother!. Im using the Meike batt grip too. Thinking of getting the smallrig too as a protection. Looks cool as well!

      @VidHeadz  4 роки тому +1

      It is a handy protection for your camera. Since I have used it I never got so much as a scratch on my a6400 because it never really touched anything because of the cage preserving resale value. Also with the cage it becomes way more modular to add whatever is needed to the camera or rig.

    I have the 6400 and I have a need for better battery life. I wish I didn’t have to remove everything to get the SD card out OR fast transfer speeds via usb. Great tips. Your coverage of the nuances of this grip are exactly what I (we) need on UA-cam. Thank you!

    Love your videos....there's couple features that I would like to share with you about the meik battery grip it's there's another battery by Vello, it's features has battery Indicator that shows the power level and when the battery is low then switch to the next battery, for handling the sony a6400, there's handle grip, made by small rig
    SmallRig Handle Grip Handgrip for Zhiyun-Tech ...with that handle you will have to file down the two pins, and trust me you will love then the Manfrotto ...again great job...please keep up the great work...amen 👍

I’m stuck trying to upgrade from my A6300 and not sure to get the 6400 or 6600. All my accessories I have now with work with the 6400 not the 6600 so I don’t know camera issues 😂😂. Thanks and keep making awesome videos brother

    • @VidHeadz
      @VidHeadz  4 роки тому +1

      Thank you for the awesome encouragement. I took some time off from making vids and I just got back in the saddle and ready to take the channel further.
      6400 is a beast, but I cant speak for the 6600. From what I can gather the 6600 is a improved 6500 cam. The only issue I see most people have with the 6400 is the lack of in body image stabilization. Other than that it is the best for videographers. 6400 is a prime candidate for a gimbal to smooth shots or even get some stabilized glass with stabilization built in. There are comparisons out on youtube that compares the 6400 with stabilized glass against the 6500 that has in body stabilization. To be honest you could not tell the difference. So when it comes to the 6600 I'm unsure, but would like to see some comparisons to see how they measure up. In my opinion if you are on the fence in getting 6600 I would venture over to A7III instead. They are only a couple hundred away from each other. A7III is a far more superior cam. For the same price a new A6600 goes for we can get a used A7III, same price. Brand new A7III goes for 1600 and some change. Also if you not already check out "Make Art Now" channel on the lowlight settings he gives away (video is catered to the A7III but works for the Sony A series, and more). Those settings are awesome. Thanks again for watching and being apart of the channel. Iron Sharpens Iron here.

    • @HVACUncensored
      @HVACUncensored 4 роки тому

      Vid Headz thank man I appreciate you responding. Yeah I agree about the A7lll only reason I thought about the 6600 cause it’s only 1198 body only now. I can get the 6400 and the Weebill S for pretty much that same price. Pretty sure I’m gonna go with the 6400. I’m not a professional so the 6400 is more than enough for me. I have a HVAC Podcast and UA-cam channel. Just now trying to build the UA-cam channel. Maybe down the road I’ll get a A7lll to keep in the studio and the 6400 can be my bcam or run and gun. Gotta wall before I run. Lol. Thanks agin bud have a good one

    Its such a shame that Smallrig does not provide a wooden grip handle for this particular cage. Not only will it provide even better grip for larger hands, it will look absolutely sexy as well.

    How do you like the sony compared to the E2 in regards to image quality

    • @VidHeadz
      @VidHeadz  4 роки тому +2

      In my opinion there is a couple things to consider. I have the Sony a6400 and A7III. Both have 6K sensor and down samples to 4K resolution. This gives you all the 6K detail in a 4K size. The E2 has 10 bit color depth. The Sony is 8 bit. So there is a trade off. The E2 slow motion is un matched as far as quality of image in the price range. The Sony only has 120fps in HD and the quality is sub par compared to the E2. So it boils down to what you need out of the camera. My thoughts are, I like the Sony a little better for me because of the 6K sensor, auto focus, full frame with A7III and APS-C with the a6400. Now this relative to the individual and one should learn to shoot manual regardless. With that said the face detection is pretty dope. The Low light on Sony is great 👍 and it pretty good on E2 as well. For me it seems like the E2 was more Cinema 🎥 and the Sony are more universal. I'm not ready to go full cinema at the current time as I like the flexibility with the Sony a little better for my current needs. The E2 is an awesome camera and I don't want to take anything away from it at all. Again it boils down to what you need out of your camera.
