My favorite seafood place in New Orleans! I moved to Texas after Katrina but i still have family there so every time I'm in New Orleans that's the first place I visit.
It just takes tasting it and then many people love it. Plenty of folks from the Midwest just often seem to not be fans of Seafood generally and then things like turtle soup really freak them out. I think it is because they live so far from the sea so if you don't grow up eating it then such things are too strange for some folks but then others are adventourous and will sample new things. Although there are people from Louisiana that don't like turtle soup because they think turtles are too cute to eat. Definitely a great variety of food at Harbor! Thanks for watching😀
Not as near to the new airport terminal as it was to the old one but it is still the nearest great spot for NOLA food. They have added better food options to the new terminal but none have a menu like Harbor Seafood. Thanks for watching 😀
@@wendyl5279 They are still building the exit ramps to get to the new terminal so getting to it is a bit wonky still. Hopefully they get the project done soon. It is a bit of a further drive out so of course Uber/Lyft/Taxi is more expensive to get back and forth.
I always go when I'm going to and from the airport or have folks going to and from the airport. It is always a great spot for seafood although for the price you can eat lunch in the Quarter or Uptown at most of the fine dining joints and at Commander's you also get 25 cent martinis as a bonus!
