I started watching GH when I was 15. I saw one episode and was hooked! I got the rest of my family to watch and they have been super fans ever since. Maurice looks fantastic!

When GH first aired I was 5 and watched it with my babysitter while the other kids napped. I've watched it off and on over the years, but when not watching, I still keep up. Maurice is one of the best actors the show's ever had. 👏

I started watching this show when I was 12 and idk why but after tht I just never stopped and in some ways it gives me a different perspective sometimes when I watch

I've been a fan of General Hospital for decades. I really liked General Hospital more than the other soaps due to Sonny and Jason. I just started really understanding bipolar disorder and other mental health issues within the last 10 years. Maurice Bernards podcast State of Mind has helped me to get a better understanding of what others are going through. Additionally, I understand why the writers have chose the softer, gentler, kinder, Sonny Corinthos. It's more important for his mental health then for my entertainment pleasure.
On American television. Coronation Street is a few years older. Started watching with my gran growing up. We watched all the ABC soaps. Stopped watching for a bit during teenage years, then SoapNet came along lol. Now DVR etc so not having to watch live is great. Love Maurice and how open he is about mental illness, his struggles, got it written into Sonny has helped so many people.

I remember my grandma watching this when I was a kid and when I became older I watched it on my own. I still love and watch today except it’s easier because I could just DVR it and binge watch whenever I want. Love GH!

I’ve been watching since I’m 6! I was watching before a Sonny and even Jason. I haven’t missed a beat. Maurice is amazing! I wish they didn’t do this thing with Nina. It goes against everything his character was. Sonny would never ever be with anyone who hurt his family especially his kids. This Sonny doesn’t care about anyone but himself. If they wanted to get him and Nina together fine him and Carly have been divorced more times then I have fingers. They could have done it where he wasn’t betraying his own children. His character never would have forgiven that. He would have turned to ice and destroyed them.
I love this show Stare of mind cause my mother and best friend are bipolar and by Maurice sharing his experiences with bipolar it helped me understand my mother and my best friend.

GH is the longest running soap opera on TV at the moment. So with all others with the exception of Y&R, DOOL,B&B, I don't think the fan meant any disrespect to soaps that are no longer on TV, but still recognize them as a part of Soap Opera History. I know I always will. I ve watched GH since I was in elementary school and loved it since. I would love it if Luke were alive and could come home and destroy Victor Cassadine. Ask Anthony Geary to come back for this request Mr Frank Valentini, Executive Producer. PLEASE!

@@BrwnEyedSouthernGurl Hi. I've been watching GH since Steve Burton came on, in 1991, and I always wondered about how Burton felt about the Jason-Keisha storyline. I know that after Jason lost his memory, and his personality changed, he dropped Keisha and started liking Robin. At the time, the breakup was blamed on Jason's memory loss, not racism. But I didn't know how Burton felt about that, and I never heard Maurice Benard say anything about it, so I didn't know how he felt. And I'm saying this as a black person. I still wonder about how they felt about the interracial storyline. To me, Jason and Keisha were fine as a couple. Personally, I had no issue with the interracial stuff, just like I have no issue with Molly and T.J.

I used to love the character Sonny corinthos and have been through a lot with this character, whom I loved...he was charismatic, his swag, he fixed things, I been through it with Sonny through all his shenanigans....but...I found a way to defend him....HOWEVER..this past storyline with Nina turned me so off with Sonny corinthos that he can NEVER be redeemed again in my eyes. I view him as a low life drunk with no more power..and his storyline with Nina really repulses me..(a little too invested I know...lol). It's sooo bad , I now fast forward all of sonny/Nina scenes and any scenes they have with anyone else. I can't even watch a full episode anymore. Now...I know this is just a show..so it has nothing to do with Maurice (love him). It's just, I've been a fan for over 40 years..and I have never been so disappointed til now. The only thing that's interesting is the teen storyline (for me)...
