Cual es su dieta tengo una tortuga Motelo patas amarilla mediana pero su piel esta reseca y su caparazon opaco.,no se que más darle de alimentos para que esté hermosa como Tilly
Do you have any tips on how to restore a dry shell?. I have adult sulcata 15+20 but recently i have noticed his shell has gone dryer and somewhat changed colour ?.
I have a 9 moths young sulcata. at night she/he stays in the concret mix tub and in the day in the garden - micro climate. I feed these thick pellets that get moistened I can't remember the name as well as lettuce, hibiscus, mulberry leaves and flowers and agave. I don't have to start feeding her anymore, but wait for her to help herself to the grass - that's going to be hard. she gets her bath every day
@@TillyGTheTortoise i briefly soak the mazuri balls in water so that they soften. i live in thailand where it is always hot. the sulcata only drinks when she gets her bath and that doesn't seem enough to me.
It dosent matter what space you have I own 4 sulcatas my garden not as big as yours cause u live in America you all have loads of space where we don’t also the weather there is hotter than the U.K. we have to make do sulcatas live in hot climate so hardly any water when I kept my tortoise in a humid hide he kept coming down with respiratory infections my sulcatas DONT have humidity since then my sulcatas never had a respitory infection again I’ve own sulcatas for years I’ve also research for years half of the information you hear and read to day is most misinformation I have noticed your sulcata had a little bumps on his shell mine have very smooth shells

Soaking in warm water for 20 to 30 minutes 3-4 times a week.

My best advice to you is stay away from all, and I mean each and everyone of those commercial tortoise pellet foods!!!
@@TillyGTheTortoise - I think the name is mazuri pellet, compressed hay. I watches kamp kenan too.
