Man, this video stirred up a lot of great memories for me. I owned a loft condo in downtown Atlanta for about 14 years. I loved it. Amazing city vews through floor-to-ceiling (18ft) windows, scored concrete floors, about 1800 sq ft of awesomeness. I sold it in 2019 to buy a house. Took a little while to get used to living in a house, but now I'd never go back to the condo life. I like blasting music and games for hours without whining neighbors complaining to the condo association. I'm definitely a fan of the Google Nest ecosystem. It's an outstanding smart home tool. My Nest Max hub kept responding to your commands in the video. Now, it's playing rain sounds. LOL! Love your work, as always, mate!!

I live in NYC, I also use automation. I'm using the Homepod though. I have the lights, outlets, and air conditioning connected to Apple Home. I also love using Home Pod for Music and turning on/off lights. Normally at night, I have lights turn on around 5 PM ET and turn off at 00:15 when it's time for bed, with the exception of my bedroom which starts to dim and turn off finally at 00:55. The best thing is knowing that I can turn things on and off when I'm away from home. For example, when it's super hot, I hate coming home to a hot house, so I can turn the AC on 20-30 mins before getting home and it just makes it better.
