Hi. J. Neil Schulman here. I’m the producer/writer/director of Alongside Night.
Nichelle Nichols was the star of my previous independent feature film, Lady Magdalene’s - which won three film-festival awards - and the Alongside Night red carpet interviewer from Star Watch media was the one who mistakenly told Nichelle that Darius Santos plays in Alongside Night. Darius Santos is not in Alongside Night.
I was delighted that Nichelle honored me by coming to our premiere. I offered her a starring role in Alongside Night but Nichelle’s schedule did not match our shooting schedule and she was unable to take the role I offered her.
I wish Darius Santos well and am sorry for the confusion.
