I lived at 3 E block hospital hill road next door to what was then Julie's cafe, for three years 71 to 74 when the border was closed, I sadly could never afford to live there now, but GIBRALTAR is forever in my heart and mind
I have spent much time in Gibraltar, only more recently than the time covered in this excellent documentary, which I found quite fascinating. Gibraltar is much cleaner and generally wealthier now but one thing that hasn't changed is the determination of its people to retain British sovereignty.
Gibraltar now in 2022 is unrecognisable much has changed and is well kept and clean.
Yep overpriced and overbuild eye sore give me back my old day's.
Lived at RAF Northfront 1974-76, when Dad was on Station Flight. Franco died while we there, big party on the Rock. Border was closed at the time.
