✝️🎼 I grew up in the 50's in a Methodist Church and later served 34 years as pianist in the church. At the Season of His Holy Birth, we sang an old familiar hymn to this same tune written by Richard Storrs Willis in 1850.
NYC Young People sing "My King Will Soon Come Back Again " in glorious anticipation of our Lord's return.
We look forward to that day when Peace will cover the earth; Man will be brought to Glory; Truth will be revealed; Jesus is returning for His Church, His Bride! Praise the Lord!

Thank you for the reminder of Willis' hymn "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear", one that many of us sang in the past. It is true that to use this melody for the Lord's return is quite fitting. May we all continue in the faith and experience of our dear Lord, awaiting His return.
