    Hey guys, I love your postmillenialism and most of what you're doing, but learning more good, honest science would increase your credibility.
    Joel, you called for finding natural ways of increasing health and lifespan that are already "baked into" creation. Well, the low-hanging fruit there is not primary water, but thanking God for his carbon, oxygen and water cycles instead of claiming that he's letting the water get rotten and not recycling it cleanly enough for us.
    Brian, you mentioned abiogenesis and millions of years as the two opposing theories on the source of fossil fuels. How about billions of dead things buried in rock layers, laid down by water all over the earth?
    Here are some revelant facts that are revealed to us either by God's word or by our diligent, honest searching of His creation, or both:
    1. People lived longer before the flood.
    2. The flood "sequestered" vast quantities of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen underground as coal, oil, and natural gas (mostly from plant matter), where much of it has been idle until the last century.
    3. Burning coal, oil, natural gas and their products releases these elements as CO2 and water vapor back into their active cycles in the air, the soil, the bodies of living creatures and bodies of water, increasing the quantities that are available for respiration, photosynthesis, growth, etc.
    4. Increased carbon dioxide levels cause plants to grow faster and to use water more efficiently.
    5. Increased oxygen levels greatly promote human health.
    6. At 78% nitrogen gas, air has plenty of room for its oxygen and carbon components to increase, and plenty of potential for that abundant nitrogen to be useful in productive biological processes (which also benefit from increased carbon and oxygen) that God has designed to feed plants.
    7. Water is not scarce. When the real(not government) price of water causes a large-scale abandonment of flush toilets, I might say that water is scarce.
    Whether primary water and abiogenesis of oil are fact or hogwash, they are far-fetched, and there is plenty of knowledge near at hand for reasonable explanation of an optimistic perspective on increasing lifespans, Earth's population capacity, and greening the deserts.
    I'm an amateur. The professionals have lots of good information at Answers in Genesis and at the Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation.

    So, I don't know if it was the same in this culture, but throughout history women had very little choice in whom they married. Most were arranged by families or the brides father. So was it possible that the brides of the Nephilim had no choice in marriage?

    Do angels have free will? Imagine man not having free will, but angels do…

    • @thereisnopandemic

      Scripture is not clear on Angels, it is clear on human beings. Do you believe God has freewill? Can God sin?

    • @ryanmckenzie3627
      @ryanmckenzie3627 Місяць тому +1

      I think after a certain point angels became unable to fall, which would mean an angel can't choose to sin. Does that mean there is no will?
      God can't choose to do evil because it's against his nature. All in future paradise will have their natures perfected and will be unable to sin.

    • @HartyBiker
      @HartyBiker Місяць тому +2

      What do you mean by free will? Do you mean the ability to make choices? Calvinism is not opposed to that idea at all. But everyone's will is subject to the divine Will, and so in that sense there is no creature, be it an angel, or a human, or an animal that has complete autonomous free will. If man has a will which is at all autonomous then God cannot have exhastive knowledge of the future, or indeed any real government over the events and actions of humans, both of which the Bible is very clear that God possesses.

    I don't understand the disrespect of dispensational premillennialism. Most of what these guys talk about doesn't conflict with it at all. I think the differences covenant and dispensationalism are overblown. Covenantists and dispensationalists are both brothers in Christ, we should be able to agree on everything except for eschatology.

    • @ryanmckenzie3627
      @ryanmckenzie3627 Місяць тому +19

      We can agree on much, and there are a great many true brothers in Christ who are dispensationalists. However, that doesn't change the fact that the rise of dispensationalism has been a disaster for the Church which has led it to flee from it's responsibilities. People fighting to get Christians to push the Church to act like that Church are getting attacked and slandered constantly by big eva right now. That they're not thrilled with constantly being attacked isn't surprising.

      Thank you!! 👍🎯
      Agree 💯.
      I’m certainly premil, but not at all a dispensationalist nor a Zionist. So I guess I’d call myself historical premil?
      But I agree that many (NOT all in the postmil crowd) make it a bigger issue than it needs to be, i.e. implying that it is a salvation issue.
      Christ is returning, sin will be destroyed forever. That is sufficient to me. The rest we will figure out when it happens.

      Dispensationalists are creating institutions, Bible colleges, missionary organizations, churches, schools, etc. Things that benefit the world much more than Moscow ever will.
