Am an autobody guy and once i saw the rebuild first video i already new those pearl whites are gorgeous but to paint match those are a absolute pain in the ARSE!! Usuall you have to blend out 2 panels more , your wife deserves it honestly, no other women would move out of a beautifull home to a trailer no matter how nice it is but your building wealth. Usually when you see a succesfull man its because theres a strong women by his side, great vids!!

There just is something so right and reassuring about longitudinal engines. It's in the correct place, in the correct orientation and driving the correct wheels, i.e. the rear wheels.

It is nice that you built this one for you wife. People built cars to just make profit or use in short term so they don't pay attention to fit and finish. But the fact that your wife being the next user of the car makes you pay attention to every little detail.

Great rebuild series, never knew headlights or cars did stuff like that relearn thing. I like these smaller channels and interactions on them. I am sure the house to rv has been a huge adjustment, but you have an end goal and are working towards it to better your family which I think is admirable. I hope the wife loves the car! Take care.

You can see the panel gap near the headlight where the crack was isn’t quite perfect, and I agree with you that the paint isn’t quite right... but for saving so much money and getting your wife a lovely gift: who can complain?

Very nice job! I liked to see how to assemble the front end, it seems to be a little bit similar to my 2007 GL500, that I am planning to disassemble to correct the gaps. Also I hope to replace the front grille and its Mercedes emblem.
