Had a 2018 GLC 220cdi with 500 miles as a loaner when the alternator clutch froze and snapped the belt on our V70 going on vacation last summer, nice car! But all 5 in the family soon missed the comfy volvo seats.... 😊 otherwise a great car!

Was there nothing wrong with anything further in by the engine? Cus it seems like they just took the bad stuff out and started applying the things back. Maybe I just didnt see it

How does this even unsafe? Only the crash bar did bend,the entire frame wasn't damage,but still there is a noticeable bend on the frame but it still wont go bad as burnt metal lol
He is correct. Drivers side frame rail should have been replaced. Its not about “If i can repair it” Its about “Is it supposed to be repaired” In this case that frame rail is made of non repairable steel when it is damages like that.

How much is insurance on a car with a salvage/rebuild title?
In the UK it doesn't seem to make any difference, as long as the car is road worthy condition then it's all good by them. They will pay out less than usual because the car is worth less than if it hadn't already been damaged.

Yes i know the car isnt everything but this is dum question it souds like his wife is upset from the new car
Why you say saved over $30,000? You said in the previous video; I checked on vinnumber and saw that the dealer charged for a brand new model $53,000. This wrecked car, cost you with rebuild and purchase together a $21,000. But a normal occasion would estimatly around $30,000. So for a saving up to max $9,000, you drive arround in a wrecked rebuild, in wich you never will know, how it holds himself in a new accident. God forbid that it happens, but what if? I would have spend the 9K more, and would drive with no questions in my head. And even if you want to sell it, you could never get a fair occasion price. Cause everybody could easily see that it is a rebuild! So when a GLC about 4 years old, does 18/19K, you could ask a max of $10,000. Keep that in mind sir!

Pagga van Slaan buddy, he bought the car for $11k and spent another $8-9k on all repairs, totaling out to about $20k. 53,000-20,000 is equal to 33,000. Therefore, he saved $33,000 dollars rebuilding the car instead of buying it new. Idk what about that u aren’t understanding lmao

bent frame ? trash. Sure it looks strong but it will never be as strong as it was before.
Now yes, a frame can be pushed back to place by trained technicians with the right tools... but what i've seen @ around 4:06 makes me think that these guys are clearly not professionals, but skilled amateurs.
