People throw garbage in park anywhere.. but the main reason is that there is no dustbin where one can throw garbage.. i dont know where the dustbin went.. either it was stolen or it was damaged by kids.. when our area MLA comes to that park, he himself look at all those garbage but he didnt take any action.. even local people dont take any initiative for cleaning the park even when kids are going to play in that park daily...

Great points: on the wet and dry waste - when wet mixes with dry, the recyclable quality reduces; fiscal health; the point by Manish Pandey on the staff taking rest on Friday so that the city is ready to greet weekend crowd. Really good. Thank you for doing this sensible, detailed and intelligent video.

I believe India can become a very clean country overall once a critical mass of people dedicated to cleanliness is achieved. There are many "spot fixing" movements in India where concerned citizens are spending their own time, energy, and money to clean their towns and cities since local governments never did so. As these types of movements spread, bureaucrats will take note and actually will expend effort to promoting these efforts. Over a long period of time, the results will show as a cleaner and more livable India. In the next 10 years, I expect to see a drastic change in India and I'm glad the citizens are taking initiative in making it come true. Perhaps India can achieve the cleanliness of Japan sometime this century. Namaste.
