  • Is it possible to squeeze a car between the Insignia and, when it arrives, the new Insignia VXR? Vauxhall thinks so, which is why we have the 2019 Vauxhall Insignia GSi. It has stiffer suspension, a lower ride, lighter wheels and much more, but a very normal engine.

You missed the fact the GSI has a lot more kit as standard compared to other variants e.g. full LED matrix headlights, leather AGR sports seats, aluminium pedals, an eight-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation, a Bose sound system and a head-up display.

    I like it a lot!
    Vauxhalls GSi pricing seems strange
The rest of the range is good value for the money.
Also the new Corsa GSi is very expensive for what it is.
    Cheers guys.

Glad you enjoyed it! It's not a bad car, it's just the standard Insignia is just already good. Haven't driven the Corsa GSi yet, but curios to try it!

I’ve changed to Vauxhall now after countless problems with my previous bmw which where costing a fortune, I’m happy with the overall quality and drive, but most importantly cheaper parts and hopefully more reliable than the very unreliable BMW’s and Audi’s.

I'm not normally a fan of white on a car but it does look rather nice. Wouldn't have one though, as it's a diesel.

where do you know about the weights of the 20 inch gsi rims, you mean when you compare it with the standard 20 inch insignia rim it has less 1.5 kg? Interesting...

Great video (but the opening and closing music is awful :) ) I looked at the GSi, and its basically a tame warmed up version that's trading on the former GSi reputaton, a case of stick the badge on it and hike the price. a few extra bits warms it up, but its a long way of the VXR that they wont build, mainly because it doesnt fit in with PSA and their other offerings. I'll wait for the VXR version, if PSA ever allow one to be built again. Had 4 VXR's and loved them. Do I want a tame version, hell no.

Great review, it's a very smart, sharp car. Big vehicle too - good road presence.

If I'm not mistaking I actually don't think it's a real twin turbo. It's a twin scroll single turbo but they call it twin turbo 🤔

Kim Nilsson it’s a bi-turbo,2 different sized turbos so no turbo lag, bought one just over 2 weeks ago, loving it
