Unfortunately you were mistaken, you had the speakers the correct way around before you switched them, right and left means from the front of the speakers, it shouldn't make a difference in this test but for anyone watching movies you don't want to make this mistake.
I’ve just bought these 🔊 in 2023 for £230 and they’re still much better than any others at that price. This video is just as relevant in 2023 though - notwithstanding the “ . . . 160W right there, 70 W sub plus 40 ‘n’ 40 . . . “ claim made at the very end. That’s no big thing at all; especially given that every other point made, including his personal opinions, I and probably the majority, would agree with (yeah, even what he thinks about that round thing masquerading as a remote control).
Weird comment to upload after four years but I live in Cambodia where new audio gear is tough to shop for. One brand represented locally is Edifier and I've been seriously thinking about using the base unit of the s350db system as a subwoofer. My amp has a dedicated subwoofer output. So I wrote to Edifier and they said, "Ooooh, sorry: you can't use it that way." ...What? I mean, the signal would be attenuated at both ends of the subwoofer cable, but aside from that, and assuming I don't mind, what do they even mean?
HDSM thanks, but you missed the point of the question. I’m asking what exactly is ‘surround’ about a 2.x system configuration? The reviewer here mentions at least once that this is a ‘2.1 surround system’. I was pointing out the nonsense int this.
The speakers tip forward easy causing them to face plant into desk resulting in the protective screen of the top speaker to mash back into the speakers dust cover pushing the dust cover in too. When stuff piles up on the desk it makes it easy for stuff to slide off these piles into the speaker. These speakers really need grilles. They sound awesome.
@@64-96 It was my cat that knocked forward the left speaker. There was nothing in front of the speaker so it face planted into the desk smashing in the screen protector into the dust cone which was also smashed in. I was able to pull out the screen using hooks I fashioned out of needles. The dust cone I could not fix. The left speaker is lighter than the right. The weight is all in the front. The bottom of the front speaker is chamfered (the black part). This does make the speaker want to tip forward. Try this, push the speaker backward till it begins to tip. Now do the same pushing sideways left to right. Now push it forward. If you don't notice a difference, I don't know what to tell you. If the chamfer was a full 90 degree corner it would support the speaker better. I say better because the weight is still all in the front. Other than that I love my speakers and my cats. I lay my speaker down when I'm not in that room. I have a couple ideas of how to sturdy the roll forward. I also knocked the speaker forward with my elbow closing the window. It only takes a little bump. Yes I would buy these speakers again, Yes I would recommend them to friends but I must disclose my issue with the speakers. 😺🙀😾😺

I sold Edifier S730 because of the lack of lower bass in the system. Can someone tell me how low does the Edifier S350 goes so that I don't end up dissapointed again? p.s. I know that their site states 40-160hz, but the sub has port, which somewhat extends it. And I already understood that these numbers are not always true, the S730 had 20-130hz frequency responce stated in their site, which is a bad joke for a sub that hardly goes 40hz.
there is a 2.1 surround if the source supports it or the receiver itself. There is so called Dolby Atmos surround it can enhance 2ch audio to a virtual surround sound also the SRS surround w/c I like the most when listening to music. But in this Edifier it has no feature like the one mentioned 🙂
That's not bad chip, I'm going to use the 2600x and waiting for the new ryzen chips to come out as I think amd have won the battle of desktops at the moment. Also I think Nivida may have something good coming too🤔

These speakers are amazing. Bought them over a month ago and the sound and build quality is INSANE.
Hi. May I know the status of you s350db? Does it still perform as good as before?
Same. How's it holding up after a year?
Heya, are they loud enough to shake ur room?

What is the name of the track with blues guitar solo?
Which is better sounding the Edifier S350DB or the Edifier R2730DB?
R2730 is louder 😂 it has bigger drivers and also it is 3way 2ch.
Hello, s350db or s2000 mk3 for movies and music? Thanks!!!!!
What, exactly, is ‘2.1 surround sound’ ?
This is stereo with a subwoofer, there’s noting surround about it. At all.
The '2' part means full/midrange speakers and the '.1' means subwoofer. For example A 7.2 would be 7 speakers, 2 subs

Tidy up your desk? You can't possibly pin being disorganized on the design of the speakers, for goodness sake.
I'm genuinely confused by this comment. These do NOT tip forward easily, my cat can attest to that.

I can get the very old Logitech z906 brand new for around that price.
