This is Dolores and I am brand new to this craft, thoroughly enjoying every one of your videos. I want to know the difference between white alcohol ink and the sno cap mixative you use in your videos. The kit box said the white ink is not transparent. I'm not really sure what a mixative is. Thank you for your time and all the videos I have watched.
Hi Dolores. Snow cap is much thicker than Blanco Blanco by Pinata ink. That's what makes it great for creating centers. The one by Pinata has the consistency of the other ink and absorbs the colors under it unless you seal the painting before applying it.
@@VivoVintageDesigns thank you for the quick reply. I actually bought a kit of 24 assorted bottles by fans arriche. So can I achieve similar effects using the white alcohol ink.?
Beautiful as always. It resembles a mum.

love your videos and learn so much. Thought I would share an idea. I use puppy pads under my paper, it has a liner and can be used multiple times.
I use them when I'm not filming. They work so well.

@@JimKeeton I'm not familiar with that brand, so I couldn't say. If you have issues, try sealing the center first.
Thank you.
How do you frame your pieces when you cut the paper in half
I choose a small mat for the painting and center the part of the painting I like best. Usually a 5x7 works.
